I erased my dare cause I didn'y want to put you on the spot but you came through

I'm always shocked how much spead/comissions and swap I'm generating to make x amount of profit and I even trade small.
Mind boggling how much brokerages make just day in/ day out from the trading activity.

At work nobody knows I trade anything or I know anything about trading. (Maybe they're right

).

One guy on his phone showd me a chart of Ethereum on his phone.
He pointed to a thick black line crossing the bars and said, you see this line, you buy when the bars cross it up and sell when it crosses it down
I wasn't sure if it was 200ma or 100. So I asked what this ma period was?
He looked at me with shock and asked; you know about moving averages? lol
I quickly recovered and said yes i think I read in an article someting about a moving average and they had a picture like yours.

Anyways, it was fun how he enthusiastically drew trend lines and vertical lines on where to buy and sell.
I said to him, you know, at that time where you said buy, I bet you the moving average looked different cause it's averaging 200 bars...
He gave me a really suspicious look this time.

Any way, the other guy at work another day told me he invested $50, 2 months and now it is $117 and his friend invested $100 4 months ago and now it is $250.
I asked him Crypto currencey?
He said yes. I said I don't really like Crypto. He said where he invests are real good brokers.
I said which ones? He said WealthSimple and Coninbase.
He said go invest in these companies and start making big money.

So later I looked up WealthSimple and that's why I'm writing about all this.
Basically either you build your portfolio or asked them to build one for you.
If they put it together, they charge $0 commission, 0.5% management fee and pay 2.25% on cash balances.
That's for low investment accounts and it changes with bigger deposits.

So I noticed that the 0.5% management fee is really small.
Of course they probably pick a prtfolio of stocks in 5 minutes and you just sit on it compared with at Darwinex where the assets traded are much more frequently traded.

However, still from the point of an investor, if they had a choice between Darwinex or a portfolio of stocks and cryptos, the low management fee by the other might be more attractive especially if those portfolios are generating such high gains.

What do you guys think?

Same. I love the PRIVACY of trading. Nobody knows nothing. Even people that are within earshot only hear clicking keys. No conversations. No external clues unless you want it. Being Famous & Broke is a CURSE (especially if people assume you're rich) but trading allows you the potential of getting rich secretly. Its a real dilemma. Every professional wants to to recognized in their fields. Especially this 'impossible' club which only select few out of a VERY talented field every conquer. You must have been smiling inside talking to your co-worker. I've had conversations about general investing and trading but I dont think I've met anyone that was on their own trading journey and was watching an active trading screen.

There is no use telling anyone cause they don't know what you mean or think you want to hit them up for investment money.
I've never seen anyone with an actual platform in front of them either.
There was another coworker somewhere else that said he used to trade fx but gave it up for bitcoin because with bitcoin all he had to do was buy and hold and with fx he never figured out when to buy AND sell..
When Bitcoin had fallen from around 6k to 3k, he was really bulish on it and offered to have me over to show me how he trades.
There was only one catch...I had to first attend a session with him and his friend/superior priest who were into some weird sect of Christianity.

Needless to say, it didn't happen.

I think basically, Mr Colón has invented a matching process designed to enable Viralisation.
So, the mechanics are there with a scientific backing that if you can cling into this machine, it will deliver you to viralisation.
This graph shows how it happens.
He calls it "Proof of concept". As in his machine delivers.

So, it's not all about just making commissions (a lot of it is) but about paricipating and completing a viralisation process.
It's really very mind boggling. I'm participating in a science project acieve viralization.

Very motivation.

The beginning is tough and that's were a lot of hopefuls perish.
But you can't reach the higher levels of the prabability curve without going therough the earlier tedious stages.
And what gets you there other than consistancy?

FYI Post: After the Permanent and/or Investor option is activated for your Darwin the allocation page adds an 'investor' grid. (nice repurposing for the perm alloc). This is prob a page you wouldnt have seen until you landed your first Gold investor. Notice that normal Darwin allocations have their own HWM and the allocation gets a separate one which is VERY kool since its a way to beat the 3-month payment cycle. I activated the 100K on 1/2 and its payout date is 3-months later on 4/2. So I have a normal payment date of 2/3 then another TWO months later on 4/2. So prob individual investors will operate the same way and it will be possible to generate monthly payments. Only downside is I cant increase the payment for the Perm-alloc so its nice that its 100K.

So if I earn on both I get a big payment for possible larger than 100K normal allocs (90K now) then 2 months later a 100K alloc payment. Followed the next month by a large normal alloc payment. Some 4 month periods I could get paid 3X with just a normal and perm-alloc. Even though some will prob prefer having it all land on the same month then budgeting, I like having the offset since it increases payout frequency.
