Yes, both fundamental and technical is still very bullish. Nearly everyone is betting on the weaker Yen. But you should expect high volatility swing on this pair this weak.

what are the leads today (with flash pmi in mind)

GJ and WTI(usoil) +vely correlate, I'm yet to establish the relationship, but since WTI is melting -0.93%, shorting the pound would be more favorable

Yes i figured that when the trend starts, usually moves for lot of pips and it can take cares of previous losses.
These are the 2 trades i took this morning, not much but i will not complain.
Sadly i missed the entries later because i was at lunch.

Good morning all.
There was a news this morning on GBP that made GJ go crazy.
My system gave me long signal at the pullback (similar to yours) but i decided to wait, most likely i would've be stopped out at BE, too.

Now waiting to see if it gets out of this range, keeping an eye on other pairs in meantime.

I will buy if it bounce around 193.100. Ortherwise I'll wait for next week to enter long. I close a bit of my position yesterday to avoid high price swing. Stay safe guys

I ended up going short at the break of the range but got stopped at about BE.
A bit sad to give back all those profits but i must follow my exit rules.
All good BE is still better than a loss right?

1 loss and 1 nice win for me on GJ today.
Both of trades were a bit tricky: the loss was because i put the SL too tight instead of below the 200MA how i always do and the market stopped me out before going in my direction.
I entered again a bit later and got a nice win, again price hit my SL by few ticks and the moved much higher

But i got some big wins on USDJPY instead so i'm happy
I'll share USDJPY screen in the proper thread so to keep this one clean.

great call mate, i believe it will going up to sky to 204-206 as your analysis..
Ueda's speech is very disappointed today. BOJ will delay rate hike till march-April and still he stated that full of uncertainties. seems like he has no idea to solve the japan's economy until intervention come.

Japan's economy is still to week for BOJ to hike rate. If they hike rate too soon it might hurt them in the long run. I believe BOJ make the right move for the big picture. The Yen will get weaker as BOE hold rate as expect. Carry trade train will back on track.

Yes it really seems it wants to reach close to 200 between today and tomorrow.
I'm monitoring it but not sure i'll take a trade on Yen pairs today. They seems over-extended at moment.
I'll see if i'll be able to enter at some sort of retracement.
