M1 Countertrend Scalping Strategy

I have always wanted to stay on the 1 min, 5, min charts and I never once considered trying to trade on the 1 hour or 4 hour charts. But I think I finally understand why you trade on the higher time frames so much. For example even though the extreme spike repaints a lot. A signal on the 4 hour is likely to give you a long trend and a better opportunity to get more successful trades. If the extreme spike indicator printed a green signal on the 1 minute the specified trend could easily turn very quickly making it much more of a gamble to place a trade… where as on the 1 hour or 4 hour if a green signal for a buy trade comes you have high chance of getting a successful trade as the trend could last long or least a few hours giving a high chance of a win.

gringo, agree with everything you said in the screen print part from the bit about Heikin Ashi candles. Aren’t Heikin Ashi candles just a form of indicators?.. as they only show a trend and not the correct price.

They (HA Candles) are averaging candles (open at the 50% mark of the previous candle Body) and yes the actual price is not defined like a Candlestick BUT are we trading a direction or price value? I never look at price after I make a trade, price value monitoring is not in my Rules. We could say the same about a Line Chart, yes sir BUT are we trading each candle or line Price? No sir we are trading either a trend or a countertrend for a defined distance / Pip Quantity / Reversal / Pivot Point, etc., BUT not each candlestick price High, Low, Open and Close dataset)... We make trading hard...
