just closed all my longs, nice profit at market open. not sure what happened but thanks. I was afraid they would all be taken out but i'm on fire i guess
Now i will wait for the elections with no positions and small bets. I don't trust this market.

Like I said on the other EU thread … indicators, price action, fundamentals, etc. will be worth even less this week than they have been over the last four.

Trading is currently pure gambling until after the elections, provided Trump doesn’t lose and refuse to certify Harris. Then it will drag on and on … save your money amigos.

The market jumped.. I had longs from friday..had to earnestly wait for the market..I've closed them all...in profits..my fear was if the jump had happened in the opposite direction

The market jumped.. I had longs from friday..had to earnestly wait for the market..I've closed them all...in profits..my fear was if the jump had happened in the opposite direction

i closed some longs on friday but kept some, i didn't see that drop coming. Now i was just waiting for them to be taken out but i guess those shananigans saved us

I too had longs running from Friday that I closed around 1.0875. Was tempted to open a short because of the huge gap, but refrained. With the election it’s scary to trade right now. I’d prefer to get some popcorn and just watch the chaos from a safe distance.

I can only guess that the price will go down, earlier I sold with a stop loss at the highest price today, if it is hit by the stop loss, then I will reopen trading in the London market

The gap in EURUSD today is quite wide and can be seen in the H4 timeframe, the price is now near the upper band line, today no high-impact news will be released, but tomorrow's US election may influence the market.

Meanwhile, on H4...

Until the election is over, bulls have the upper hand and it looks like we will face a range bound market for some time.

IF any candle closes below 1.0893 a gap close could be expected! Otherwise, bullish!

Based on H1, price is trapped inside circle.. Until we are out, I scalp-trade the edges (scenario 1)...
