That's over thinking.

Why cannot just take it as all equal? 1 means 1 and 2 means 2.

I may have misunderstood your thread title. If you meant to have a 2:1 R:R then fine.

My understanding was you win 2 trades and lose 1 trade.

You can.

But you need to specify that.

If you say “win 2/3, lose 1/3 with R=1”, then people know what you mean.

Also, if you say “win 1/2, lose 1/2 with R=2”, then people know what you mean.

If you don’t say either, then we all have to guess what you mean.
Assuming a 1-R, winning 66% of the time is unachievable. Above 1-R, win rate of 66% is impossible.

if it's that simple why are you asking us? 2 is bigger than 1, winning is better than losing so it must be good.

Win 2, lose 1" sounds solid! That’s a 66% win rate, which can be really profitable if your winners are bigger than your losers. Definitely achievable with a good strategy and discipline.
