More importantly, how does one determine whether the next big move would be a markup or markdown after an accumulation/distribution? Any clues from Wyckoff?

Study the graphic and I have already mentioned how Wyckoff determines this.

It doesn’t matter either way, just trade the breakout if it’s strong in momentum - cut it quick if it fails.
Generally about 78% of breakouts follow the current trend.

So trust the trend basically

I set them up Last night and then completely forgot about them I got completely distracted,
For me that just about sums up trading If I would have checked the forex calendar this morning I would have made a nice bag of money,

I've just been looking at those four charts and I've just noticed something can you see the little blue numbers on the candle
I believe that it is the UK opening time it might be worth watching next week,
I've got the indicator for that somewhere I'll put it on here later on if anyone wants it,

Gives a small line under open & close of candle and the range in pips of that candle open to close, you can also name the session.

You can place indicator more than once.

The indicator with the little blue numbers As now got my attention
because I like patterns and I see one other pattern in this EUR/USD I've gone right back to the start of the week every single one of them HAD a fake-out to the upside and then all carried on going down following the trend
Apart from today's it just carried going up so it Could be going to turn next week, something to look out for again next week So if you're a Gambling Man you won't take the fake you wait for it to turn depending on the trend,

Just watch out for the fakes out where it goes up twice because you may have put the sell-on and your stop loss might be too close

Apart from the 2 Fridays, market was making new daily lows.
Bigger picture can help with direction.

Watch the pullbacks around 50% before trend continues, buying & selling at a discount.

Hi Redfan

Your'e been watching my charts haven't you?

I took about 4 of those trades myself on EURUSD on breakout of those boxes (I use different tools) and took profits every time till the last one where I got stopped out.
I trade them three ways.

First method is to trade the breakout to the next consolidation level.
Second method is to STAY IN and ADD additional trades at breakouts.
Third Method is to trade the pullback candle patterns with the reversal sell on the fakeout.

Check out BTCUSD on the 1 hour time frame for great rewards.
In my opinion, best time frames are the 2 Minute chart or the 1 hour chart for these setups.

The answer to that is no I've not been watching your chart this is the first time I've come across you, I like your method of trading, and I like the third one trading with the reverse sell on the fake out

A lot of spiers, just using your trading ideas and your files, and they never post or give you any feed back, one of them even subcribed to me but they never said anythin they just keep a secret watch on you lol

Yes, I understand that, It was a bit disappointing that no one came back over page 32 with a bit of feedback but perhaps it was no good Anyway,
I did try it this week I had two wins with real money out of the seven boxes, and six of them won
I like patterns and I've just come across another one, The only trouble is I would have to be up at 2 a.m. or even later depending on when the candle Cross the Line, So I was thinking of pending orders then I realised that wasn't going to work either So it's back to watching what the pattern does,
I might even put it on to see if anyone can spot a pattern and how to trade it.

I just want to thank everyone who chipped in and give me some Tips two week ago the markup and Markdown in between the accumulation and the distribution was great advice
