Exactly. It depends on the timeframe and instruments you trade. If one is trading swing on Spot Forex it can be scaled much more than daytrading small cap stocks.

Of course a rethoric question I assume. But I want to give you the answer nevertheless. It is like intrady trailing and End of day trailing. 82000% or 819X , the formula is (% divided by 100) + 1

and in the opposite direction ;

100 times or 9900 % , the formula is ( X times multiplied with 100) - 100

quite advanced math , I admit ..if you got this correct , I would have considered you a genius.

Probably if i were in you i might choose funded next as the only option besides FTMO. In the three you mentioned, it's the most trustable.

besides FTMO, the5ers should be on your list too …

and yes, FundedTradingPlus, which I recently discovered , I have a very good impression from them , their drawdown trails on balance making it more difficult , also only leverage of 30:1 ( keeps the gamblers on distance)

only denied 1.74 % of withdrawals and very decent Trustpilot score

Flipping I guess is a term for yolo trading?

I'm not sure if he had traders in mind to pull 10% per month flipping once a month. 'flippers' use high leverage to make huge amount or bust the account. I doubt a flipper can be of any use for him if he is trying to sell signals to investors with deep pockets.

Flipping probably works best for props.

Flipping accounts has an expiration date. Whether its 10% a month or 50% a month the result is the same, a dead account.

My play money account went from 2k, to 20k in a week (40 trades) then back to 10k before I rebalanced it to 2k by removing 8. I lost 50% from watermark and likely would have lost the rest if I didn't put the breaks on.

Markets change and a changing market with leverage is an account killer. Anyone who says that they consistently beat the best of the best is full of shit. Prop firms have enabled people like this to self promote consistency that people do not have. Most famous prop traders fail on a brokerage account because the failure is unforgiving.

-It is my understanding that the term 'flipping', in this case, simply means doubling an account. It does not necessarily have to be within a given time-frame, but it is often done so rather quickly by those that make a strategy out of it. If the draw-down allowance is 5%, then that is the account balance in my mind. So, 5% draw-down with 10% target is essentially flipping.

Flipping an account does not have to equate to gambling. If you flip an account over a several-year span, then that does not seem unreasonable (depending on the size). Doing so, repeatedly, month-after-month, is a path for disaster (in most cases).

So, you agree with the CEO saying 10%/mo with 5% max dd is impossible to do 4 months straight?

Its possible to do for 4 months that is very short period of time. 4 years, extremely unlikely. More unlikely if they are posting here or on x.

How come there is no threads with someone trying to teach flipping within the 5% dd or even 100% ?
I saw (but haven't watched) YouTube vids about 'How I flipped my account' but usually it is in the past and they show that specific chart and time and moment they did it. Once again, I think it's just based on yolo feeling. I wish they would publish 'how I tried to flip my account and blew it instead' vids.

Definitely, a few can do it at Trading Journals - example: Swing Trades DAX/DOW/NQ/GOLD, and another lurking here on and off.
But of course they only post winning charts like the pivot master.

Besides FTMO you may consider 5ers. Then you can add E8 as third option and Maven / City Traders Imperium as fourth. I' talking about props with low % of 1 star reviews in Trust Pilot (and a lot of reviews).

FXIFY has been having problems of payout denials and/or banning people. Funded Next seems to have improved from their original shady nature, but better be cautious. FT+ is reputable but the DD is a trailing one.
