Well, I can identify accumulation I can put it on the chart with a box around it and wait for it to break,

I've now got to learn when it breaks to the manipulation stage
I need to learn where I put my lines for the distribution stage,

Traders who are visiting this site if any of you know this part of it please could give me some idea on how to work out the manipulation stage and the distribution stage,

I look at the 4-hour candle first to get The daily trend but I don't know which small time frame to work I've tried the five thirty and one hour,

Accumulation is where the Market is absorbing Sell Orders to push Prices higher and the Opposite for Distribution where the market is absorbing Buy Orders to push prices lower.
Manipulation is when the market throws a fake breakout from these zones, Wyckoff calls this a "Spring".
The Price push is Mark Up or Mark Down, which can be manipuation if there is a significant previous High or Low nearby.

Rapid Moves are more associated with Red News Events or World Events or even CB speeches.
Which you should avoid as you cannot tell which way it could go.

Accumulation and distribution apply to stocks, of which there are necessarily a limited number available in circulation.

I think I've got that part right, I'm looking for action at 8:00 AM UK

Quickly’s post is actually the one you need to read and understand, that can help you out most, by re-orientating your thinking. IF you’re willing to open your mind and think about what he’s telling you and why. But you haven’t yet started doing that.

What is it, do you imagine, that’s being "accumulated" or "distributed" when you bet against a counterparty on the price of their own CFD product without currencies changing hands?

You need to know the answer to that question and understand it, before you can learn anything, in this context, that can help you to trade profitably.

All the information above about Wyckoff is entirely correct, but it can’t actually help you with what you’re asking about, until you understand what Quickly was telling you in his post.

I'm in the very early stages of learning this I've been on this site since 2011
Here are four charts I've set up tonight In boxes that I believe to be accumulations I'm still learning
The pictures of your chart are fascinating you say it could be distribution or accumulation

Wyckoff cycles are pretty powerful toolsto identify zones of accumulation and distribution and trend, but they are useless on timeframes lower than 1H. The best application in my view is on daily and weekly timeframes

There is a 2 hour Gap between US Markets Close 10pm (GMT) and Tokyo Open , although NZ & AUS may be open the volume is mostly light, hence the consolidation. Best observed with GMT +2 charts, as the Sunday Candles are eliminated.

Every transaction has one buyer and one seller. Where one party buys, another sells.

OMG, it’s really painful, trying to help people here.

Wyckoff was writing (over 100 years ago) about stocks, NOT forex.

Stocks have a fixed, limited supply and can be accumulated and distributed.

This doesn’t apply at all to the situation of betting on the price-movements of CFD’s against a counterparty "broker" without any currencies actually changing hands when you "trade."

However many people ask questions about Wyckoff, and however many answers they get, and whether the answers are right or wrong, there isn’t a way to change that.

I am starting to understand some great information. Accumulation is not what it seems. I've started by moving up to the one-hour and four-hour periods,

I've also taken a picture. Of Wyckoff market cycle, It's a clever tool And it's something Everyone trying to use this method needs, I've checked my broker and I am 2 hours behind I thought I was only one hour behind but I am two so once again thank you for the effort you put in and your time thank you very much

In consolidation zones, there is a lot of activity, mostly unseen by retail, between Buyers & Sellers until you have that Breakout & Retest. You cannot assume whether it is an accumulation or distribution phase until that confirmed breakout.
Often you will get a "false breakout" designed to trigger orders outside of consolidation that can also fuel the real breakout.

We shouldn't get stuck on the idea that this applies only to Stocks, but importantly, the psychology behind the Wyckoff Cycle and how we can place ourselves in the best place to take advantage of it.

Same as saying candlesticks only applies to Rice traders. It's simply another way to view TA.

Someone mentioned 3 pushes, this is Elliot Wave Theory, which can also be difficult to interpret.
