Nope, the sentence will be far too low. To expect otherwise is not realistic. However, Cohen went to jail for the exact crime the jury convicted Trump for. He did it on direct order of Trump and the jury followed the evidence. He certainly influenced that sentence through Bill Barr.

My hope: He gets 3 years, 1 in an actual jail, the rest in form of a home confinement / probability 10%
He doesn't get this sentence mainly due to the crime he commited, but the obstruction, the lies, the threats against jury, judge, clerks should weigh heavy and the judge should send a clear message.

He will get 1-3 years, but only to serve in home confinement / probability 49%
He will get <1 years in home confinement / probability 40%
He will be fined, but the amount (6 digit) is not relevant >99%
He gets no prison or home confinement at all - which would be an absolute joke and damage the US justice system forever / 1% (they can't be that stupid)

Remember, this is by far the least critical trial he faces. Georgia case, Florida top secret document case, as well as Jan 6th should each lock him up 100% for the rest of his life, if the US justice system actually works. But does it for rich white men?

Your statement could have said “rich men” however your inclusion of ‘white’ tells me all we need to know.

A big YES. The first lacks the complete perks.

In the greater part of the world it's "white".
In other parts of the world, it's "yellow" or "brown" or "whatever".

If you can't see the difference between the two,
you've not experienced nor understand the impact of the color yet. Or in denial.

Propaganda still works..... Harris / Trump odds are getting getting closer again. If decent, rational thinking Americans still hope sanity prevails without their contribution they might be in for a very bad surprise. In this election, every single vote will make a difference. It is far more than just Harris or Trump. Wake the fuck up and register to vote and actually do vote.

This decision will impact your everyday live in the coming decades. It is about the core values that shape politics and laws over the next decades. Not just in America. It will impacts all western democracies as well. The democrats have to go all in, because Trump and the MAGAfuckers actually do.

Supported by Nazis, Evangelicals, Crypto criminals, outright criminals, Tesla fan boys....and GOP billionaire money they are doing everything to prepare for the next big election lie and to manipulate and cheat them into power once again. They need to manipulate up the poll numbers and betting odds and certainly have the money and power to do so. They do it because they know the Musk and the Crypto boys are oppurtunistic gamblers that are in the game for short term gains.

This group is loud, nasty, attacks, lies and manipulates and therefore gets more media attention compared to democrats. But how many of them are out there? The latest shift upwards is the add-on of Musk fanboys and crypto criminals..... without them, Trump would have zero chance. With them it is getting close again. Both groups have showed a tendency for being easily manipulated..... I mean they still believe the crypto snake oilers, they still believe Musk is a genius engineer.... so they can be easily be manipulated into thinking Trump is their only saviour.

The democrats currently pay the price for letting Musk off the hook as many times as they let Trump off the hook so far and that should and will have conseqences. 4 years to convict Trump and the Jan 6th organisers and the current administration miserably failed to do so, because the let the GOP corrupt the justice system up to the highest level. Now Harris runs against a convicted felon and sexual abuser..... that is a perfect example of what America has become letting rich criminals off the hook for far too long. The rest of the world sees it and has a very clear opinion about it. America failed, massively. One reason for that is the legal system is mainly rigged to benefit rich people and you find an equal number of them in both parties. Same goes for Crypto...... the longer they can operate and distribute their virtual digital nothing burger into the real economy, the more will they be able to corrupt the system and politics. In an artificially stabilized economy through MMT and debt expansion the worst developments can grow far too big before they finally implode.

However, when the people suffer enough and get the reality check that is long overdue, they will likely make the right decisions and things will swing back to a better society. I just hope the price tag to get there isn't as big as I fear it will be.

I disagree that trading is strictly a zero sum game since you don’t know the motives or the potential unrealized gains of the other market participant that is taking the other side of your trade. Maybe someone is hedging, or covering a bigger timeframe position, who knows. Perhaps it could be a zero sum game if the other market participant has a bad position but that’s more due to the trader rather than the nature of the markets IMO.
