If we get a Dixie Daily close above 102.60, that will be a big gain. FOMC minutes could easily get us there

I had my first lesson with Pedro yesterday. Pedro is a very gifted and wise professional trader and teacher. His teaching is very concise and clear. I am very happy to be doing the lessons with him. I will be completing all three of Pedro courses. I have full confidence to achieve my goal of becoming a pro trader.

Today we will have the CPI release.
Last week I have explained that I don't try to anticipate any figures as I believe, that if my reading of the market is correct everything will work out with the current positions.
Inflation data is one of the most important releases due to the close relationship between inflation and monetary policy, interest rates in particular. During the last year there has been a bit of controversy regarding the reliability of data emanating from the U.S. Dept of statistics. Some specialists are now suggesting that perhaps there might be a favourable distortion of the indicators making the U.S. economic picture look "rosier" than the reality.
Sometimes this has to do with the methodology used to do the calculations as well as the items which are chosen to be included. This is one of the reasons why I am not putting a lot of faith in them and I rather pay attention to my stops and attempt to close as many positions for profit before the data release.
There could be unusual amounts of volatility, stops grabbing amongst other things.
Beware and trade safe.
