This is a very good, but very risky trade. I did about 40 pips short from similar levels (.0520) but given the freaking storm we are in I cannot trust it to fall as far as your second target. Good luck anyways, and thanks for this great journal!

PS: Do you think the "major correction" is going to start soon?

Of course you can close them whenever you like.

Like an example.

15. 19 July 2007
OPEN EUR/USD SHORT @ 1.3820
1st Target = 1.3780
2nd Target = 1.3730
Stop Loss = 1.3845

This signal nearly hit the 40pips target but missed it by 1 pip.

So if you think you have already like 30-35pips and think it's good to close then close it. At least the pips are in the bank for you already.

If this pair reverse dramatically later and hit my SL. I will post here as a lost.

Do you take in consideration the news hours? It might be a very quick market up and down hitting the SL unexpectadly.

How long do you expect your trades should last? 30 minutes, 1 hour, 5 hours ... Do you have an average lasting time for your trades?

Everything is posted in real time after I had entered the trades.

I do take news releases into consideration, however having a SL is still the best. If you are confident of not using SL, then it is okay. But if the price moves against you, you need to cut it manually.

My trades usually lasts more than 2 hours. Sometimes you need to hold for over 24hours to hit the 1st Target.
