Who has some more info about xrading.com, that magic word hedge fund incubator appears, but with no further info on website at all. The stages and profit splits are not worth to deposit on an unknown and not regulated broker they use. This offer is only for people who cannot calculate themselves. So the only value could be that hedge fund money access, but there is no info about that. If it is not guaranteed and if they do not like the "nose" of the passed trader who spent half a year at least ??

https://xrading.com/ - Do not fall over. The offer is by far not that good. They have connection to the "famous" Gleneagle ones in Australia, you know that broker. It looks a bit similar to Axi Select model. I have no idea how they wanna give you big hedge fund money at all. It looks to me like a scam from the beginning. They have no info about when it starts to be really interesting. But with compounding a 2:1 RRR per stage, that on 5 stages you should have made more than what you get from those profit splits, trading your deposit on your own personal broker account. That they think all kind of traders are stupid and cannot do the math, I do not get it...

Just asked those unprofessional amateurs on telegram about their hedge fund. You do not get any sufficient answer. There is the word "EVENTUALLY" that is all.
I would bet some that this is an outright scam. If they have no offer at all in background, they just wanna see a foolish trader complete all 5 stages and then they see...

Also I looked at the Apex, Topstep and Fasttrack futures prop offers and you do not get more than double you would have at trading on your own personal broker account. So why do all the headache following all kind of rules. You are not that much slowlier on personal, but you are completely free and you have full control over your deposit and profits all the time and can withdraw all the time too. All these trailing EOD or live just makes it harder, all in all you do not get more than double compared to personal ! I have done the math, the offers are not that good as you might think. Those who are lazy or cannot calculate all, they see pay "nothing" and get few "kilo", but it is not that good by far. Do not fall over their "cheap", it is not that cheap with all that goals and trailings etc. And then there is more dirt coming later, which makes way more complicated than what you can calculate from numbers. If you did include those things, you would never end up signing with such a prop.

I am pretty sure about this. Only hedgers across multiple accounts outside props, have still and always have an advantage in that game. That is all. I would say trade on your personal comparably and then you see all yourself later and guess you would strongly continue on your personal broker account than doing all that challenges.

For your info I am still at a prop firm, called Ascendx. As they were not able to refund me my duplicate order within 3 months, I decided then, okay I will get them with some payout requests later and they need to refund the fee in a payout. So here I passed Phase 1 of that 100k and the extra free 50k account I got because of my decision I wanna trade with them rather then requesting a refund, I passed both phases and now I am in that migration process with my funded account. So this is I think my last prop accounts with any prop, if the business model does not change. Ascendx has a new broker names Quant Tekel and spent $3 million on that broker!

The process moving forward is that every account will be migrated across to our own broker Quant Tekel LTD. Fully licensed broker and operational in South Africa, which now owns our UK company as a result of this merger.
You will be able to trade your account through Quant Tekel (or QT for short). Some of you will be able to hold live funds with us immediately, we are applying for the various licenses to offer this service to as many countries as possible.

After all the search and due diligence and doing calculations, reading fine prints and all the rules and then reviewing other experiences with challenges prop firms. I can only say, they want your best. They want your money. As normal brokers they want commissions. So as long as you can trade with your deposit and generate a lot of commissions they are very happy. And in some way they wanna see you to succeed. So there are on your side. But you cannot say that with any challenge "prop firm".

Please don't repeat what we already know for years. If we cannot afford to lose 1 cent then you are better off to work as a janitor as I was for many years.

I would invite you to a challenge, I take a 50K challenge from MFFU and you open a 50K account of whatever personal broker. We will post everyday our result for 6 months on a new thread. If you really make in by then, you will earn your bragging right to post all your unwelcome nonsense.

There is almost 10 points difference between spot price and futures price.

It does not matter.

I do the analysis in mt4 spot price.

If mt4 tells me buy... i do buy in futures.

He is missing a big point of comparing 2500$ for 80$ in mFFU(or any firm) vs 2500$ of personal money. Not sure where or what school he went to or what they taught him in maths class.... Risking 80$ is 3000%+ less than risking 2500$ of personal money..... NO matter how many rules are there but trading is same in both cases. Plus the rules are in place for you too not do stupid stuff... For example, I see people crying over DCA. I bet do the same on the personal account lets see how long the account survive... then Daily loss limit (now i am in love with it) is in place for you to stop and done for the day so to avoid revenge trading and blow up the whole account..... COnsistency rules are there so that you can survive in trading game for long..... i dont understand which rule is exactly against the trader?? instead i see them all in the favour......

Update Report:
Broker backed prop firm

After reading many comments this past weekend and also learning from experience, I made some revised criteria on the previous model for broker-backed prop firms and added some new data. For the metric review, it has also been reduced from 10 to only 7 more important metrics.

For Ultimate Traders and The Forex Funder, the available data is temporary, as there haven't been any updates on their websites following the acquisition or new beginning of the new business.

For the comparison between Hantec Trader and Blueberry Funded, although Hantec has very simple rules, they implement a Trailing Drawdown, whereas Blueberry seems better for now with a Static Drawdown, allowing more profits to be withdrawn when gains are made.

The price is approaching the ideal at $150 for a 50k account at both The Forex Funder and Blueberry Funded, and the ideal Forex Cult and Trade.com, about getting straight to the funded account.

Thanks for your detailed analysis. Just to mention that these guys don't refund your challenge fee on successful passing. Hantec don't accept traders from UK and USA also I think. Blueberry Funded is definitely the best option for 1 step challenge seeing that it's static drawdown. One can get a 20% discount at the moment so a 25k challenge is $120 which is not bad. Maybe worth a try? Only downside is the miserable leverage plus the weird leverage/margin rule which will make reaching the target and arduous process

Hi Coastie or anyone else,

Apologies for this question which is off topic, but not sure where else to ask it, and have failed to find it elsewhere. When it comes to back testing and looking at historic charts I cannot find a way to set the Quantower charts to a specific date in time, and also hold the chart there in place on the screen while I switch between different timeframes. I know there is a mini-scroll bar at the very bottom of the platform, to rapidly zoom back in time, and I also know how to download historic prices, but I unable to find out how to move back to a specfic date etc.

Once again, apologies for this question and the answer is probably staring me in the face, but I am perhaps using wrong reference terms to search for it. So any help would be appreciated.

So to summerise:

In Quantower I would like to move the chart to a specific date in time and hold it there while I switch between different timeframes.

You should do this on your own. I do not want to convince you if you do not have the insight yourself. You should convince yourself. And by the way you never get 50k as capital. You get $2500 as drawdown. So open $2.5k personal versus comparing all outgoing money and income from prop side, okay ? You will be surprised, I bet.
