Lol, obviously not (as you well know). At least 90% of the income’s always from trial-fees. That’s always been true of all funding companies with audited accounts, and anyone who has ever worked in the industry will tell you that it’s even more true among others.

Guess not much going on in the world of the forex props? FTMO and the 5%ers, just like 4 years ago....hundreds have come and gone since.

Alright people some HARSH update time...

Last couple of weeks went downhill on my prop firm journey.

1. I have lost 12x150k Apex accounts after the payout was approved. All thanks to gold wild moves in last few days . Good part is payout received so i dont have any regret. Coz my goal with every prop firm account to get atleast 1 PAYOUT coz i aim for max numbers so i dont mind losing them afterwards.
2. Also lost 5x50k topstep recently which was a great setback n pure loser firm for me. 3k+ in lost money there.
3. Myfundedfutures all accounts are gone as well. Alot of revenge trading. But the good part is a 3600$ payout which is good for me.


WAY FORWARD

1. I have Passed fresh 150kx3 with myfundedfutures today (1 Passed in the NYsession and 2 passed just now). SO those will be my primary accounts to focus. Will be aiming 600-700 a day to get a 3600$x3 payout.
2. For Apex i'll be yolo'ing fresh evals on CPI tomorrow. Not going for 20 account right away as i am still in the mindset of revenge trading so slowly will build the numbers but will start with 3-4.
3. For topstep will give it a another shot.

Note to self. Don't leave UJ long trade open with tight SL for JOLTS print.

15 pip SL ended up slipping 120 pips! Oh my.

Meta4 chart showed lowest price at 144 but I know that's the average price so apparently it spiked all the way down to 143.48? Wow

Good thing that's my ding dong Darwinex secondary account. Cost me 1% loss (.34 risk adjustment factor) but still pretty funny

Maybe its time to remove that revenge trading trait matey. Im quite impressed actually that you made profits as you did since January even if you let out revenge trading. its all about improving in end we all strive for it or most of us

One of the (many) reasons I do not trade forex any longer. Not that you cannot get slippage in futures, but there are no brokers/LPs just making it whatever they wish and then blame it one no/low liquidity. Centralized pricing prevents that......everyone gets the same slip.
On a side note, what is that Darwinex post doing in here, didn't Navk explicitly state that needs to go in it's own thread. You must comply.

thats not how slippage works. Slippage occurs because people don’t get the same execution not everyone gets the same. It is always regardless of market due to low/no liquidity even fake slippage is from a lack of book depth

But a market maker can essentially make it whatever they wish and always fall back on "no liquidity" and they're off the hook. I guess what I meant to say was there is no "artificial" slippage in futures....my wording/explanation was incorrect.

Biggest issue with my style is I AM TOO CONSCIOUS OF TIME whenits comes to propfirrm. Any loser will add to time to get paid which make me do some stupid stuff. But surely thats a concern.
