I found to be consistent is tradings&p 500. if it goes up 0.80% by 10 o’clock, buy a put with around 70 dte and it will be easy to score greens!

Still forward testing it - looking promising

This kind of trade would be easy to backtest. But, generally, buying puts in a bull market is a losing strategy. SPX up 0.8% is up a little over 40 pts, currently. Just looking at an hourly chart over the last few months, the times when SPX was up early that much, it kept going up. Bull moves in a bull market beget more bullishness. You might have better luck buying calls on days when the SnP is down early.

Anyway, what instrument are you trading - /ES, SPX, SPY?
