Thank you for sharing that info. Are you currently trading a challenge with TopStep using TopSytepX? If so, what comments can you share about your experience so far? Thank you for your response.

Only on their own platform so far. They also treat max number of contracts as equal between minis and micros instead of 10:1, also unless using their own platform. I think they are encouraging people to use their own platform instead of NinjaTrader, Quantower, etc. Maybe it saves them money on the back end.

They are doing that from quite a while. All deals comes for Topstepx not for any other platform. Even on other platforms they treat micro and minis as similar so below 2K 2 micro and minis are similar . The way they are kicking out affiliates and not supporting other platform seems to me they are not able to scale properly and wants to control inflows.

Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

hey ace..... yes.... but not doing well..... it's 100% my fault...... main problem is it's so low down on my priority list..... too many irons in the fire.....

i'm still under the 19$ plan with free resets and maybe some other bonuses at subscription date..... so it would not hurt me to drag things out for a year....

the the topstepx platform is user friendly...... again the problem is me.....

will post when/if i pass... h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

Any one else getting these emails from topstep? they seem like Spam. Not sure. I am not even in funded stage. Still trading Combines.

I do not think it is spam. But you can double check if you contact support or go into your dashboard. The sender name is generic from their email provider, not a scam.

I am not familiar with Topstep dashboard. I would contact support, what is the problem with your government ID showing this email as screenshot as attach. Then look.

You can also click on reply on this email you got. Vanessa should get this then directly. Also you can follow the mentioned steps you need to do in this email. I looked again, and I am pretty sure this is not a scam at all and something very serious issue from Topstep. You need to solve this urgent, not giving them a chance to breach.

I called Topstep at (888) 407-1611 spoke to a live person. Very very helpful. He will get back to me, but he also thinks its spam.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Do not trust them that this is spam and you do not have to do anything. When you got breached because of that it is just a win for Topstep and you are in disadvantage. I had similar mails with same provider from other props too and it was never a spam email. You need to react to those messages, because this is no fun. They take it seriously and no action means you missed your duties within terms and agreement of Topstep. Pretty sure.
I mean if this is really spam and Topstep got infiltrated from a spam provider then you are lucky as you do not missing any action from your side. But you need to be on the safe side. It is better to contact and do everything, even it is for nothing then the other way around. It is only the best in your interest then. Just want to be helpful.
