D-Factor is the MOST IMPORTANT THING one should care about.
As imagine if your risk factor is above 1 lets say 1.5 to 2 you just need to make 1-2% to achieve 2-4% of monthly target.
If your D-Factor is like 50 risk factor is reduced to 0.1 or 0.2 so to make 2-4% monthly one needs to make 20-40% in signal account which is not sustainable without larger drawdowns.

Risk in DARWINEX is not unrealized P&L or stop loss. According to them risk is D-Leverage. Higher leverage trader uses irrespective of P&L long term they will have higher drawdown hence they reduce risk factor.

Yes you can't ask withdrawal till you reach trailing threshold otherwise they will punish you. All FIRMS except APEX are essentially 2 step challenges.

But is there a guideline in Darwinex how much should be D leverage ?

You see the graph below, within the green box there's a period where I used a small risk of 0.33% for one or two trades a day, not more, with a maximum of 2 lots. That was a safe risk period. If we increase the risk beyond that and hold positions for too long, D-Leverage will increase. I think trading with 0.3% per position, with a maximum of one or two positions, will be safe from risk reduction, and positions should not be held for days.

My stop loss on average follows my personal formula for the daily volatility range of the 28 pairs, currently ranging between 35 pips to 71 pips and varying. Therefore, trading with a 0.3% risk on one or two positions will solve my Over D-Leverage issue in Darwinex. Case closed.

Yes, around 10 seems safe.

Why would they give guidance. As a general of thumb 1-3 lots should good enough for optimum risk ratio.

As I mentioned earlier, actually a simple explanation from Darwinex is enough. Without their risk engine, they can set a fixed monthly risk limit not to exceed -5.62%, but it doesn't look cool. Other prop firms seem to be clearer.

So far average asian session... First gold longs twice hit the stop loss then finally hit a good homerun long on gold to recover losses.....

1. Apex - 400$ up 14x150k (Gold missed my tp n reversed in process lost 300$ of drawdown otherwise i would have done for the day)...
2. Topstep - 2000$ up (DONE for the day)...
3. Myfundedfutures - 550$ up was around 1100$ loss then recovery (aiming for 1200-2000 with trade NY session).....

I think many traders are missing the point with Darwinexzero. It should not be thinked like prop model but instead like Hedge Fund model. Traders job is simply to produce good trading decissions and Darwinex will set the risk in order to protect investors money. In Darwinex you are not trading for yourself but for investors whos's money is on the line at gold level.

In other words, if you have your own HF it would be difficult to attract investors with big drawdowns in track record. Therefore Darwinex is "risk manager" for you. If you make sound trading decisions but risk too much, they reduce the risk behalf of you. If you risk too little, they will increase the risk behalf of you. Only thing trader need to do is concentrate to trading in long run.
I’m quite happy with where its going, still halfway left for calibration stage, not sure I should continue the same or just cooling off with trading in this stage.

That's absolutely correct. However, if you can only risk 0.04% per trade (after calibration), say you are guilty of overleveraging, with a 100k account, it means you need to complete 2500 profitable trades to achieve 100%. If each 0.04% requires an average of 50 pips, then you need a total gain of 125k pips to reach 100%. Indeed, it would take a very long time. If aiming for just 10% per year, it might be a bit more manageable to achieve 250 successful trades, requiring only a gain of 12.5k pips.

There's a better approach after gaining some clarity: Darwinex could set a rule that you must not risk more than 0.3% per trade per day and not have more than 2 positions open at once. If you break these rules, you're out. This simple limitation is what's needed. Via "Do Not" or Negativa.

Darwinex idea is to provide a platform for succesfull trades to attract money from outside investors and there is no shortage of people willing to prove their capabilities. Bad trading decissions like not beeing patient or excess risk should be penalized and only best tradeders to be rewarded.

We all now that people have tendency to repeat bad behavior so penalizing them and making traders to be patient is useful way to make sure behavior don't repeat. One can always open a new account and start calibration process again and avoid same mistakes.

This is just how I see Darwinexzero and how I try to navigate and success in group of good traders.

Funding for Silver and Gold from Darwinex. Investors will come later. Recalibration is indeed an option, but not a solution. Clear and easily understandable rules need to be established. Penalties and rewards are appropriate, but the duration of the penalties should also be clear. Everything can be understood clearly if it is something that can be easily comprehended, not rocket science, not just sweet words from psychoplastics enthusiasts or psycholoplasters mania.

These are my last two simultaneous trades; this is the lot taken by Darwinex with a risk factor of 0.12. For details, this time I opened with 0.3%, risked 71 pips, and used 0.65 lots. So, two trades simultaneously risk 0.6%. I will update the D-Leverage tomorrow because the data will only be available then (delayed by Darwinex).

Hi, anyone else here experiencing unusual long answering delays from FTMO Support? I have been trying to complete the FTMO Identity Submission after getting my funded trader status but I just can't get a confirmation after more than 3 working days... Hoping it's only due to the cumulative effect of trending markets with team members vacation.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure...
Right on track, another 0.64% this month gets another allocation. Yes, it's peanuts in silver......if I just hit the minimum 30K at all times, by month 4, I'll have 90K.... 2% monthly will pay me $270 per month. Although a month mixed in at 4-5% will get me 70-100K that month.
I'm just working on the best possible presentation to investors. I'm pretty confident a 50-60% annual return with a DD under 8% SHOULD attract a ton of capital.

I heard unofficially that its Hard to get investors in Gold, even if your track is solid above gold standard.
Heard that a bulk of investors AUM is the same for last years and not rising, im not sure.

Of course 2-3y of track could be another level on the Gold, but one needs to attract investors themselves mainly?

I opened also Dzero for fun, lets see when I get the rating

I was going to reply same as if you see those who had investments have 5+ years of track record plus they were early adopters....By the time we reach there it will be too crowded....But these account pay for themselves so trader is not loosing anything...they can get easily additional source of income.
