I want to ask a question:

My prop firm FTMO does not allow servers in USA as you know. My current setup is IC Markets demo as a sender account and I use it for the reason that I need low latency with IC Markets in live. I use FX Blue copier. But I can not use it with sending from IC Markets to FTMO because USA server is banned by FTMO.

Which broker is best to use with FTMO? FTMO is in London and I want a reliable broker in London as the sender account with an unlimited demo. For receving and sending signals, I will rent a VPS in London server.

You will be good with FxPro London as a broker and use https://www.accuwebhosting.com/ for your VPS and choose London server

FXPro are utmost reliable. Having a nice platform and allways fine support. BUT their spreads are allways minimum the double of FTMO. I know because I use both.
MetaTrader 4 - so many advantages.

That wouldn't affect your trading negatively with FTMO because that's how I have been doing it since.

Apex money hit the bank so bought 2 evals and nuked them right away......
CHecked news probably will try YOLO'ing 6 apex 150k evals on 13th Aug CPI......
No more evals before that gonna be donation to apex i feel it....

TOPSTEP -- Did you guys know this?

Let's say you have a 50k funded account with TopStep. You trade it for 5 days at $300 x 5 = $1500 profit for the week. Balance = $51500.

Say you take out half (-$750). This is the 50% max they let you take out after only 5 days live. Pretty cool. But...

Did you guys know that upon taking that withdrawal, the max loss (MLL, or account termination) is now $50000? I just learned that after your first withdrawal, TopStep automatically places your MLL at $0 -- so, $50000 in this example. That would only leave $750 of wiggle room before blow-up.

I thought the pre-first-withdrawal EOD of -$2000 would still apply. In other words, in the above example --> account value after 5 days before withdrawal was $51500, so I'd expect a MLL of $49500 (or -$2000).

Kind of lame. $750 of DD left instead of $1250. Small print sneakiness of it all makes me not wanna try them. Still probably will though, haha...

You mean to say, the risk engine is blackbox so that nobody will be able to understand how to manage risk after knowing what risk one trader has to maintain ?

The risk has to be managed on adhoc basis by a trader. Unlike in prop firm, 5 % and 10 % rule

My D Leverage high is around 10, which I assume is why my risk factor runs from 1.4-1.8. It is great that we can all share these stats to see what is most beneficial to us.
Obviously, I much prefer trading small and having them multiply me as opposed to reduce me.

I think Apex is the same, that is the reason we need to build our buffer before requesting for withdrawal, else we are left with $500 for drawdown. I might be wrong on this.

what should be the guideline for D Leverage ? My question is not to you but from Darwinex zero.

I still feel the risk engine is a blackbox

Whatever is left after your withdrawal is basically your new draw down. I would only take out money If I can leave a $3000 buffer.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

D-Factor is the MOST IMPORTANT THING one should care about.
As imagine if your risk factor is above 1 lets say 1.5 to 2 you just need to make 1-2% to achieve 2-4% of monthly target.
If your D-Factor is like 50 risk factor is reduced to 0.1 or 0.2 so to make 2-4% monthly one needs to make 20-40% in signal account which is not sustainable without larger drawdowns.
