Anyone knows a reliable CFD broker where I can also trade Futures as CFDs with low overnight margin (max. 1%) but no additional swap fees like normal on SP500 index cfd ? Actually I am paying 6% swap fees as financing cost per year for SP500. I think Activetrades is offering that, but did not get any response from support since 2 days from them. Often I read they forfeit all profits so they look suspicious to me if you can trust any deposits with them. Can you trust this broker ??


The US 1 year interest rate is showing me ca. 4.80% so financing cost for CFD is just 1.2% in addition at IC Markets for SP500, is that correct ? Think will stick with it.

This guy is full of crap. He doesn't have Apex account just blabber based on rumors. Follow rules you get paid period. With apex new rules one needs to trade like robot consistent SL and TP and call it a day after 1-3 trades.
Funny part about Top step affiliates is they are extremely loyal like a service dog. They are forgetting that Prop firms are wild dogs play with house rules dont get crazy you will get paid.

We’re seeing more and more brokers offering prop trading, either under their own brand or as a separate brand. The most common mistake we’re seeing is the assumption that what you know about your forex trading audience can be taken across to your prop trading audience. A typical FX trader is looking for leverage, quick trades, high volatility, risk management. A prop trader is typically younger, less experienced and looking for education and community support. Prop trading requires less funds up front and takes off some of the mental pressure of trading. This means quite a different psychographic profile to what you might be used to.
As with all your target markets, segment them, research and get to know them. Here are some quick facts to better understand prop traders:

  1. As they are community driven, prop traders centre around YouTube, Discord, Instagram and other community and influencer driven networks
  2. 95.7% of prop traders are men with the average age in US being 43 years
  3. Again in the US, ethnicity of prop traders are anglo-saxon 66.1%, Asian 12.5%, Hispanic 11.6%, African American 5.5%
  4. Languages spoken in order – English, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese
  5. The prop space in 2020 was worth $6.7 bn globally with an annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.2% from 2021-2028
  6. Regulators including CFTC are cracking down on prop trading, so ensure your communication is transparent and above board.

sampat, is it mandatory to have a SL / TP with apex funded account? I see they mention something called mental stop. I am guessing mental stop is not a physical SL / TP. I would appreciate your feedback on this. Thanks

No it is not mandatory but why to give any one chance to deny payouts. Imagine one big red candle or green candle of 100-200 points account will be wiped out.

Exactly. I never open a trade with SL and TP targets. Only after a period of time when the trade is open, trail the SL.

Scam Alert Ascendx. It is over 2 months that I requested a refund after a double purchase cause of a technical payment processor failure on their end. No refund recieved so far. They are blocking me, it seems. I cannot get any money back.

You probably have to go through your card provider.

I cannot anymore, it is too old for my card provider. Ascendx promised me to solve it and response to that matter. But nothing. I am having more than 50 emails both sides regarding this, they do not solve it. The end is near it seems.
...and by the way they did admit the whole thing from the begin as I have never recieved any login credentials for that account too. So bad they are holding funds back. There must be a reason, otherwise I guess they are gone tomorrow if they payout and refund all, which are legit. Just Scam artists.

That's bad. Are you sure that that's overdue ?
A lot of card providers allow up to 90 days, some up to 120 days, and this is even a fraud so with a police claim maybe you can get it from the card provider, though it's passed the deadline. Good luck.

I was revisiting Audacity.
They are established for a long time (I think even before FTMO) and it doesn't seem to exist a lot of buzz around them with denied payouts.
Apart from being a bit expensive (though the challenges are easier to pass with 15% DD vs 10% and 5% targets), does anyone have anything to say, good or bad, about them ?

You did not hear the closing bell, right ? If they payout from fees only, no rules can help them. If they are more payouts than fees they cannot pay. End for Apex then.

I lost trust in any prop. The whole model does not work. It is already proven it does not work. Any newer established prop failed, many of big names too. For what are you waiting ? For last door to be closed too ? FTMO and 5ers and Topstep are the last doors. Others are more than struggling. They are surrending. Another rug pull does not surprise me anymore in that business. You really need to calculate all the risks into your comparison with your personal broker account. I think most don't do this here. I really wanted to be positive as long as possible, but the recent developments give me no choice to do so. You can hope in the church still and pray for your payouts.

Name one prop firm not paying out from fees? Only few moves explicitly to live for that again traders need to pay monthly professional fees.
Atleast APEX has consistency rules. Imagine on top step one can make 100-500K a day without consistency rule (assuming withdrawal threshold crossed) which is more dangerous they dont even have time to move to live.

I've been receiving payouts without problem, so far and it's still very profitable. While the cow is giving milk I will go on putting my bucket below.
If something goes wrong, which may happen, I will just charge back. That's why I never pay with crypto.

These youtubers use such headlines in order to get views.....
Long story short APex pays if you follow rules no matter the payout size end of the story.... I got 5 payouts without any issues its just takes 14 days to get approval but i dont mind.
