As I mentioned previously I look at nearby squares (up and down) of Opening value - and today the SqRt of O 5544.54 = 74.4617 then add 0.12 (I use multiples of 0.04) then re-square it = 5562.43 HOD

ha ha... LUV IT !!! I used to square (√) prices all the time -- but used .325 | .625 | .95

if one looked @ today's day Low (so far) -- it's .215 from today's open = today's day high area of 5562 = Fri July 19, 2024 Day Low area of 5497.04

last couple of minutes thought they's close it @ 5557 area / LAST Fri July 19th, 2024 Day High of 5557.50
...but it ended up closing @ the .3683% from the Open of 5544.54 x .3683% = 20.42 +/- 5544.54
= 5564.96* | 5524.12

Here's an example of my use of the 137.5% "GoldenAngle" on $SPX daily.

I use multiples of 137.5 but break down the initial segment into 1/4 amounts (34.4, 68.8, 103.1, 137.5) and I only use this on what the Dynamic Trader Fib Tool refers to as Expansions. Taking a range and adding to an up move, or in this case subtracting for down move, that value from range.

The ranges I look for to apply this to are initial (impulse most of the time) move back in the other direction.
