Not about mentality, you won’t be able to change the negative traits in human nature, such as the tendency to take excessive risks.

i disagree with your last statement because if your risk size is limited from force then your human nature is controlled a bit

Thanks. It's a very relieving way. However, it seems that I will continue the journey until the subscription period of this account ends first. Hi, Just lost two apex evals on Friday trying to Yolo. I don't think Yolo trading is for me, specially while I am working full time and trading at the same time. My slower approach is working for me. Now left with 6 $300k evals. Slow and steady should win the race. Lets see.

few years ago when so many were screaming the end of the world, there was one person buying everything with hydrocarbons in it or used by it..... sometimes pennies on the dollar..... to conserve money i bought leaps when available..... stocks my original way to lose money...... that was a very good year.....

i judge my years directly proportional to my federal tax owed...... my goal is to owe a million in one year.....

slow and steady might not win the race but seems to help staying in it...... a measly 50$ per account per day target works for me, that's minimum wage here......

my daily tradovate risk settings are 500$ loss/1000$ profit...... so yolo is out of the question..... there was quite a few times where the eval account was so far in the hole i removed all risk settings and tried the hail mary yolo approach......

those are in my opinion wrong choices for evals some stupid targets on trailing drawdown….
I think we need to be in the middle ground not too much yolo and no too slow.. coz prop firm changes so fast so you wont know if all your efforts goes in the drain.. like look at apex there was a time people getting big payouts so easy now its opposite… so my suggestion is when its your day squeeze as much as possible and reduce risk on bad days
.. try to spend less time on evals so go with 50k i was in same boat like yours … better to grow 50k PA drawdown to 300k drawdown rather than investing so much time on passing evals n then again getting over the threshold two times efforts

After 15 days calibration what happens ?

Is there a criteria to say calibration has eneded and Darwin is created ?

During the calibration phase you must complete 25 risk-equivalent trading decisions over a minimum of 15 trading days as without this we don’t have sufficient information to analyse your trading signals and calibrate your DARWIN. There is no requirement in terms of return, our system just needs enough information (measured by nº of trades and trading days) to be able to create the DARWIN.
Upon meeting this criteria, your DARWIN will be created automatically and you will participate in the first edition of DarwinIA SILVER for which you are eligible.
