Personally I am not trading futures , but here is a vid about some of the problems apex is having rn.

So I got a response from Darwinex about why my risk calibration hasn't change and apparently won't change the way I'm trading. Kind of a kick in the chicklets.

"We have checked your DARWIN and trading account and the VAR is almost 4 times higher that the Goal VAR (6,5% VAR).

You have improved in terms of risk stability but in terms of risk (determined by the size of the trades and the number of simultaneous trades opened) there has been no change, a VaR of 20% has been maintained"

At the moment I have 2 lots open on a UJ sell and it shows the VaR around 4%. Apparently I don't understand how VaR is calculated or how it relates to my trades. Guess I'll have to do some research.

Sounds that in Darwin we need to have a PhD in stats and math.

personally i am..... was paid by apex in 5 days yet again..... actually, can't remember a time that took longer than 5 business days.....

tend to very very careful about what i let enter my mind, so did not watch the video......

According to MFF's A book results... over time the top retail prop traders also absolutely suck!!! MFF's VIP (5+ payouts) a book group were net losers in the live market almost every single month. These were their most successful traders prior to being moved to A book.

According to Josh @ MFF back in Spring of 23... <5 traders held a single account with them >1.5 years... At the time me, Pip & Takisd were 3 of them lol

I remember asking on here what was the longest drawdown period people have recovered from.... there was mostly no response. Most successful prop traders blow their accounts in <6 mo, hit the reset button and start over fresh with new accounts. In an A book scenario where the prop is actually putting up the DD capital... it would be a total disaster outcome.
A book could work if profit split was 10% or the rules were way stricter on the funded including lot size limits.
There is one sad aspect about Apex crashing and burning. After its gone I can almost guarantee , that Topstep will increase its prices again to before Apex came into the arena and so on. Apex alone put the rest of the futures prop firms to its knees and forced them to offer lower prices. Shame however it had to almost end this way. It was expected however. Pump and dump scheme was painted all over it. Lasted very long time tho.

-Yes. These props are not structured properly for A-booking. Not even close.
Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone has any information on the legality of managing Funded accounts for other individuals?

I am an American, residing in Deutschland, and so I can not take advantage of FTMO anymore but this is the prop firm I have spent the last year adjusting to. My [Ukrainian] partner would open the account and I would execute trades from MT5 on my devices.

ANY insight would be greatly appreciated... Thanks guys

I don't know of any prop firm that will allow you to do that. Most say you need to trade your account upfront unless it's an EA. No one would know unless they required an interview at some point.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong. If we go from the info given totally unbiased right now. They are crashing and burning so hard. Will they suddenly recover from the odd behavior they did lately and all. Did anyone in past recover in this business as premium bucketshops as it started to fall? Name one. Then I will take that remark about me more serious and maybe even feel upset about it.

I think Apex is peaked now. But shall see, I thought they would go under 5 months ago so. They managed to keep afloat quite well. My guess they took a considerate market share due to their promotions years ago. But it must come a point where it will start to go downhill. Also I like averaging median and going straight into losses full force with a set SL which seems to make most faint here just the thought of it, so theres that.
