Dislikeda screenshot with my latest indicators for threads.
v1.1 of Threads and v1.1 of Elasticity histogram indicator.
The gray histogram is the same. It measures deployment of the threads from the wall.
The new elasticity histogram indicator (in LightSteelBlue colour) predicts a change in direction of the Stochs wall before it happens.
I'm new developing indicators... any comment appreciated.Ignored
DislikedHi emda,
Great looking indicators!! I have been trying to work with the elasticity concept since Spud first introduced it. Like all trading, sometimes works well, sometimes not.
How do you propose to utilise the indicators you have developed here? I have been eyeballing a few charts and initially I thought that when the histograms were small or non-existant it showed a good trending market and a nice time to trade, but then again maybe not.
Any ideas?

Dislikedspud is this strategy same as Escalator to pips strategy? which strategy do you use right now?Ignored
Dislikedanother example of the use of elasticity.... in the fall of GJ today.... how to predict another fall after the big fall ? elasticity....
look...
wall was going up to recover from the first fall... but elasticity appeared... so... it indicates main wall (green) going to change in direction... and it did... wall started to go down after crashing into the blue formed wall... and price follows main wall. Elasticity indicator(blue bottom histogram) predicted a change in wall direction... an another fall... and nearly 200 pips right now...Ignored
DislikedNot sure how hard it is, but if possible perhaps stick in trade direction arrows into the indicator or maybe have colour change in histogram for long and shorts?Ignored
DislikedIt could be... but how to determine mechanically the long and short zones?Ignored
Dislikedthere was a bug... now it's fixed... and also you can choose different colours if the elasticity is from the LTFS or from the HTFS.... LightSalmon (by default) elasticity is stronger than LightSteelBlue. Also the value of it indicates elasticity strength. With MinimumElasticity parameter set to 10, if the histogram reaches 23.6 is a very strong elasticity. and if it is DarkSalmon even more.Ignored

hey emda...
i not sure what is the diffrent between top elastic and bottom elastic...Ignored
Dislikedhi
thx to spudfiyre and emda.
I studied this and want to ask for some things. This threads theory is really amazing. I played around with it and ask emda if its possible to make the wall indicator that there are two indiators not one. Means one to define the robe for LTFS und One for Htfs in form of histogram and then one like it is now. Then it would be easier to define which one is in a robe and trending. Or also to define which pattern is building. I think to make histogram for fishnet is not so easy possible? I want to use this indicators in EA so for this its necessary to have a histogram or line indicator and then define rules. Of course its a for vision and manual trading.
