Stochastic question from newbie.

Hi there,
I just opened a live account after trading a demo for a month. I did fairly well so I'm jumping in. I've been reading quite a bit about systems and oscillators and a stochastic seems to be highly recommended. Yet I cannot find any help on what specific settings for the averaging and observation periods work best for intraday trading. I am kinda messing with them as I go and any guidance would be appreciated. Any advice on other indicators would also be appreciated. Thanks. PT

Someone who has done a lot of work with the Stochastic indicator is
Buffy I am sure if you do a search on Trading by Buffy and B-Line you will get many hits. She uses, I believe three different times, one of them being 35, which she calls the B line. I think there's quite a bit of information on the site called trading naked as well about this indicator. And ensignsoftware has put out a few articles as well.
