I was hoping it might be the gals listed in that article but checking their photos against the names, no, then I noticed the article was referencing a 1999 concert but not the 2007 Crossroads concert, though I thank you so much for your help in searching as this one was not simple.

Here is the DVD of the Crossroads concert I did find.

and THE song was not even on it

So I have my doubts now that even the You Tube Uploader got the actual concert right initially, who knows.
Doesn't matter, we can see the gals faces and their joy in performing

Great story Luciel about Eric, George & Patti

In the clip below Bobby W talks (incessently, lol, bit like me

)
and he brings in a recollection of how Eric finished Blind Faith (after one album) and went in with Delaney & Bonnie for a while prior to forming Derek & the Dominos

This was the final song on the terrific imo D&TD album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs"
(I always thought Thorn Tree was about a gal ... while if you can sit through the monologue the end was a revelation to me -
and I listen to the song a little differently now
