Hoping to get long around 1.075 area if it gets there. I think this will just drift towards that for the rest of the day. Lets see.

Nope! That would be OFTEN too late... In every uptrend "dips" are the most important opportunity! BUT the keyword is "uptrend"... In choppy and idle times this rule doesn't apply that well!

but does it look like uptrend based on just one big news candle?

Even temporarily, yes it is trending based on active momentum...

Edit: I am aware that 1.0833 area can be tricky but still worth to buy dips. On DAILY, 1.0721 is currently strong and reoccurring support (see all the arrows from the past). Based on that I am sure bullishness will continue for some time.

Assuming ( ONLY ) that the market presents an opportunity to buy dips... I'm looking to enter at or below the 1.07600 level, which corresponds to this week's pivot point. I calculated this level using my own custom VWAP-based pivot analysis, which marks the market's 50% midpoint. It's not your typical Pivot Point line. While my strategy relies on technical analysis with some consideration of fundamentals, sentiment, and trained intuition, I understand that the markets can be unpredictable.

Actually my mistake was adding long entries at wrong places and wrong time and also I placed a hard SL which was completely unnecessary. In other words I managed the whole setup in a really wrong way and burned down all my profit. At least I am open about what I am experiencing and try to learn from my mistakes. Anyway I am against Hard SL instead I believe we should enter with small small lot size and add more when it goes in our direction and it really works well for me but today I did not do as I should suppose to be.

This is how i traded eu.... was a decent ride but took a while to develop. Gotta have patience to catch decent moves

eu 15min view ---- the green zone were at right now is a 15min gap from 9th May and just filled

Mr. T as far as targets if you loaded the longs at the bottom how did you figure the target? did you target the FVG. I caught the trade at 1.072 but closed out 1.076 as i did not where to target. At that point the closest liquidity point was right after the gap. I closed because news was coming out. I missed out on another 100 pip run. I only did a micro lot cause i did not want to risk but still how to know the target.

my target was the green fvg zone above the gap
