Cannot load EA MT4

When I try to run an EA on metatrader i get an error message saying it cannot load. Last week it was running and now i get this error. How can i fix it?

Lastest update Metatrader not allow run cracked EA.
Last friday it was working and when I opened it yesterday on sunday it isn’t working any more.
It is not a cracked EA
Do you have the MQ4 files, or is the a ex4 file?

Try re-installing and if that doesn't work, then contact the developer.
I have the ex4 file. Tried to re install. Also tried to install it on the mt4 of another broker. But same error message
I'm having the same problem right now

reinstall prior version of metatrader......

save/backup a copy of your current version, the one causing trouble......

it's a good habit of saving a current copy before allowing anything to make a change ..... if you have many accounts like me, just backup/save the entire terminal folder...... this will include all accounts with all brokers.....

don't feel the need to be first to update..... now you know firsthand the risk......h

AND what version should i download and where? so i can run my EA again because i can't find where i can download prior versions

Thanks Bro, but I didn't fix it with this. Same strange problem, till last week all was ok and no issue and from yesterday some EAs are not working. I didn't change the mt4 or nothing else...

Yesterday I downloaded the mt4 .exe file from the broker website but this didn't work. Another strange thing is that on a singular account it didn't work, then I tried on another one (different vps and different broker) and it worked (it has been attached to the chart). Then I closed all the mt4, restarted the vps (I do this any week as adviced from our vps provider forexvps.net) and on the same mt4 it didn't work anymore.

I have downgraded it to Build 1415. And then my EA worked again. But for a couple of hours. After that my whole MT4 was blocked. I couldn't delete running orders I could not even see them moving.

I have uploaded the MQL4 file in the expert advisor folder and now the EA works again.
I finally fixed putting the file "MT 1415" already posted here in this thread + following these instructions:

Can anyone tell me if I'm doing something wrong I can click on an indicator or a special advisor that as mq4 at the end of it loads perfectly,

if it has ex4 at the end of it, it will not load Any ideas where I'm going wrong

Find the C:\Users<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\WebInstall folder. Delete its contents. Make it read-only for the system user (so that MetaTrader couldn't create new files there). Perhaps, the same should be repeated for the C:\ProgramData\Metaquotes\WebInstall folder if you have it.

hey I installed older version and it worked for last week but now mt4 journal saying live update upgrade to new version and chart are not loading live prices what to do
After I downgrade my MT4 show "Old version" and can not login to trade.
I also reinstalled the old build (1415) myself. And after that I can’t log into my trading account((What should I do, who knows how to trade on the old build?
I had this before to update terminal

right click mt4 icon run as administrator and say yes to change files

this may work
otherwise you need to d/l the latest version from your broker and reinstall but be careful if may wipe your files so save them
