MT4 charts slow to change timeframe or load?

I've had to do this several times depending on indicators loaded.
If your charts take a long time to load or change between timeframes you can potentially benefit from this clean out.
Go to your MT4 folder under program files. Go to experts and then go to logs. If you have large files in this folder just delete all of them. This will speed up your MT4 charting immensely.

Ive tried that but it did nothing. Still very slow to change TF it takse 10-15sec so I dont uderstand how you came up with the idea of deleted logs to spead up MT4.

Size of the logs do indeed play a role. They all get loaded when MT4 starts up. Also check to see how many indicators you have on the system. I find that it is better to trim the number down to only the essential ones for my live trading. Set up a demo account to load all those you find on the web, and for testing. If it's a 'keeper' then transfer it over to your live platform.
