That's still bullcrap and shows they are desperate because they banned on IP/MAC/CID alone and didn't even bother to check to see if there was actual duplicate trading going on between the accounts. Yeah, could have been handled better. I just follow it bec I also have accounts with them. Turns you off when people are just sent a templated email without proof or evidence.

For Darwinex (the live funds broker) it may be similar unless you're importing a live trading record from a different broker but I don't really know.

a prop called https://funderpro.com/ keeps popping up in front of me. nobody in here is using them? they say they back accounts with real money, but I guess there is no way to prove that from the client end.

Got me to thinking about forex props like this and even future props like Apex - its pretty obvious they don't use real accounts to back every client (unless they have $100M+ to fund their company), but why couldn't they have one big giant account of real money, then add every client account into that one account? That way if some rando buys 20x$100,000 accounts, they don't have to back that with $2M, they just include those accounts into a giant real account which would create real profits and losses with trades. Guess that's too simple to do. And depending on the number of accounts that might be too unwieldy to fill orders. Just Sunday thoughts...

That would never fly in the regulatory environment here in the US. Mixing of funds in any form is no bueno.

Just explaining to you why no one in their right mind would use Funderprophylactic.

We welcome all posts about new props but just because critically thinking experienced members tell you that prop firm sucks doesn't mean you need play the poor victim, curl up in the fetal position, and suck your thumb. But then again, that's what todays brainwashed liberal children do when their feelings get ruffled. Toughen up buttercup, life is hard.
