i told you over n over again and here others also said it. If you keep yourself 100% dependent on trading you’ll succumb to the pressure. Thats how it is, to perform better need peace of mind then you’ll analyze market better. First get a job and free yourself from basic needs and then work on trading..

If getting a job which you would like to do requires learning or anything then invest money there….

The problem is I have no choice except trading.
I have devoted money, time, my life to trading.
I have no experience in any job.
I have not done any job in my life.
Whatever I made, I made online & I also lost online.
& If I see some job, then there is experience required, some skills they require I have, some I don't have.
& I don't think anybody will give me job and also tell me what to do, teach me for quiet a bit how that job is done..

Plenty of jobs don’t require experience, but those will be McJobs, which is better than nothing, you will hate it but at least you won’t be a complete failure as you are going to make some money. Also how tf did you make 50 k without any job in your life and how old are you to not have a job in your life (only reasonable explanation to me is that your parents are really well off).
Also on behalf of everyone, pls do start your own thread and stop posting here AND GET HELP.

Here lies your problem. MINDSET
Problem is you dont want to. That mindset wont take you anywhere not in life not in trading not in anything. Luck may come in save you here n there.

I don't think anyone is purposely being mean to you but you have received great advice. I think the consensus feel you're bombarding this thread with material that isn't relevant. I feel your pain but take the advice and step away from trading and gain some income. Working for your own expenses is not a bad thing, I've had a job since I was 15. Whether it was cutting grass or doing side work for a local chiropractor, I felt good as teen earning my money.

-You can get close, but you might have to drop down to seconds time-frames in order to do it, and even then, you can never be 100% correct all of the time. As such, I generally just stick to the lower-minute TF's for entries, and that is good enough for me.

-Probably, little point in trying to explain it at this point. Most here see it as a losing strategy, regardless. Breaking trades up into smaller sizes works really well when you are trading larger volume, especially over the long-term. But it can be used even for day trading, honestly.

Not only can you average into a better entry, but you can minimize slippage/get better fills, more-easily take money off of the table when certain profit targets are met etc., and in the case of prop, even avoid being grouped together with traders that are using copy services since your trades are so unique. When I break up my trades, I am usually adding to a winning position. Sometimes, the market retraces a little, and I can average into a better price. I am not adding to my position because it is losing; that is not the purpose.

People think that anyone using DCA is just adding to losers, but that is just simply not true. Adding to losers because you are losing and desperately hoping for the price to reverse is a lot different than breaking up your trades, knowing full-well where the market will go, while also knowing full-well when/where to pull out of the trade, should you be wrong.

But, everyone is an expert in their own mind, I guess.

Get a job that will help your psychology.....then I'll teach you a couple of things that can make a positive impact in your trading.

Monty, read what you wrote. You can not win the markets by non stop buying prop firm challenges and constantly losing accounts, hoping to get anywhere with this business. The end is obvious, unfortunately. As you pointed out - There is no luck in this business.

Your mindframe should be: Let me spend years of learning the markets and demo trading and when I am a success, I will show those mothefuckers(the prop firms).

P.S. It seems that you are a nice guy, but got hooked, so I am trying to help here with some wisdom.

Where I live anybody with a pulse can make $20-23 delivering for Amazon. You can even be a complete pothead and blow off work regularly and you won't get fired. You get to pick the days you work every Thursday. 50K and total freedom of schedule, get stoned, blow off work, lazy. Whatever you want and your hired. Zero skills needed.

Thousands upon thousands of warehouse jobs. $20-30 per hour.

Heck you can stand on the side of the road with a "slow" sign for a construction crew and make $30-40/hour

-Maybe. Probably. But, I would just rather not do it at all and avoid the trouble. I have no issues with Apex or this rule. But I agree, no reason to keep revisiting this.

i wasn’t pointing towards trading.. but what you explained is what i meant… mindset is all matters in order to change one’s situation… not just hoping (luck comes in play afterwards)

I'm not sure if you're serious or trolling. However, I can see some similarities to my past life and want to offer some verbal help. There's no easy fix, but there is always a choice. I was always looking for a quick fix, and things just got worse until I accepted that short-term trading is not a solution. I read this brilliant quote yesterday: "It’s an undeniable fact in this business that virtually no one seems prepared to grow slowly, and that is why so few grow." What I am trying to say is that you need time to make it in trading and if you don’t have time you have to buy it.

I hope you get things in order but trading is unlikely short term fix.
