First sign of the robot trading. Using M1 to get some signals to test.

Remember that it is a requirement that the robot is trading WHILE the candle is ongoing - not at the close of the candle. Therefore you must use "Every tick" model.

Could this be the problem?

OK, I tested CADJPY. It took 3 trades on 35 days. That is not right. I have to see what is wrong.

Settings is easy.

I am using ticks. I assume there's no timing code in EA that prevents accelerated testing? Any timing code should use iTime to accomodate testing.

Backtesting is used to validate basic functionality of EA. If it doesn't work in backtest, I'm not going to use it in forward test.

That's correct. I don't want to spam the thread with code that doesn't work. Thanks. I'll post dashboard when it's developed, and it WILL work.

We analyze three candle configurations. Necessarily we make a choice for short or long bias. And then either trade blindly and hope our choice is right or we look for signs that confirm our choice. First two candles decide our bias. And we look at the third candle for the entry. We can look at LTF and HTF for more information. There's a limited number of three candle configs but still it's pretty big. So I devised a code to describe them. I'm going to post some configurations and their codes. I'll post the legend later but for your entertainment you can try to guess what the letters stand for.
