same for NZDUSD. One supply will hold most likely but cant be bothered doing AUDNZD comparison.

Dollar supply has come in, but the blue lines is a demand on 1h time frame. Longer term the dollar is in an up trend, so I'm betting we will get a bounce from the 1h demand.

Demand was hit for USD, bought with tight stop. Let's see if new high can be met.

see that cap in price on 4h, it has to consume those sellers there first before it can go higher.

Looking a little iffy this up trend. Might just be a pop.

AUD is an interesting one - Pollies won't cool off the housing market with more interest rates in my opinion.

Whatever happened to the fellow that was trading AUDUSD several years ago that had a huge positional live gain then lost it all in a course of a month or two I think it was.

He was an accountant i remember seeing on his profile. His profile said something like "success in forex is the answer to everything" or something along those lines. I'm probably misquoting it horribly...

I think the position actually went into the negative and he busted the account. The position was running beautifully for a long time and then just started to turn and he couldn't force himself to sell.

Anyone remember this?

Politicians do not control the interest rates in Australia or anywhere else that I know of; but ready to be corrected if you have the information, please share.

Also, politicians, as a group, are not generally known to be able to agree on anything, so even if they could set interest rates, it wouldn't happen.

They don't call it funny-mentals for nothing.

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

this is the 5 min chart of AUDUSD: do you see the two letters XY? they represent the first hourly cycle with an increasing minimum! please count the bars
each cycle, whatever its duration, has its own particular temporal window within which it ends. normally it corresponds to approximately 20% of the standard duration of the cycle itself.
