EUR/USD closed the week on a negative note after reaching a high of 1.0885 earlier. On Thursday, the pair found support at the 1.0804 low and subsequently rebounded to 1.0857 before closing this Friday at 1.0845.

The upcoming week holds significant importance for the current uptrend, as influential news releases will dictate the likelihood of rate cuts in the US and potentially impact other economies. EUR/USD will be directly affected by any such decisions, with a key resistance level at 1.0897. A strong break above this level could target 1.0942/60, while a drop would need to breach the 1.0800 level and potentially reach 1.0750.

I know this has been mentioned before somewhere on FF but isn't BRICS also trying too do there own thing of some sort and make everyone take and pay in that? I know Russia has been buying gold like crazy to try and back the ruble with it. (It's recent plummet was a spectical to say the least) Can't imagine china's not doing the same. I wouldn't think that would be good for the eur either or the $ as a matter of fact. But that's very long term I would think.

Quick Daily Outlook

  1. I will keep sharing this chart until one side is out of the expanding zone.
  2. Bulls are still trying to break above red zone: 1.08635 to 1.0890 area. For now, I am inclined to sell the attempts and spikes.
  3. On the bearish side, ~1.0792 is the limit for now where bears can easily drag price down. Once there, we must see how strong momentum is to break below it. Otherwise, it is only a ping pong game inside an expanding zone.
  4. Starting from whatever day momentum shows, Monday, Tuesday etc... I will first use every opportunity to sell spikes as soon as I see bullish exhaustion. As long as below ~1.09 roughly, bears have the upper hand.

We had fake break out of the blue channel and now those mofos may try to play us again with a second fake breakout to test the newly formed down channel which has confluences of various channels meeting FIB level and VWAP. I have buy limit orders in 1.800 area if it hits there.

EUR/USD is almost unchanged after Friday's close and is trading just some pips above the weekly pivot looking for 1.0867 daily R1 resistance but just before there are some levels to beat first (chart). Support below 1.0845 is located deep below at 1.0804 but before, the daily pivot and 1.0814 levels should slow down the bears if we see a break.

check higher timeframe such as Daily and weekly, you will see that its correction has been started since 2008 and 2024 or 2025 could be the end of corrective phase. Besides, I don’t consider fundamentals and I am a technical analyst only. Maybe you are right and in the future, the situation in the European countries can get worse which may ultimately bring down euro a lot.

I see that today is a holiday in the US, and the EUR seems like a kid doesn't want to go to school today, Should we pause trading today? I don't see any good point for trading today, the chart looks not good
