Hi GreenEarth, I'm Tommy (Italian) and I've been trading for about a year. I am fascinated by trading, I am not interested in becoming rich, my goal is to become profitable. During this period I have tried all possible strategies and indicators without any results. So being inexperienced and probably incapable of reading the market and understanding the direction of the moment. I came across this thread and am reading it slowly. I wanted to ask you if you can insert some previous graphs where you open the operation. Many times the pivot points fool me because I think the price seems to bounce but instead it continues in that direction. Thanks in advance

Pairs usually are close to pivot on Monday, and tend to not move much on Monday or Tuesday, and lot of times i don't see any good setups until Wednesday. Do you guys usually not trade in the early part of the week?

the same thing for closing the trades. for example we open a trade with good setup on Thursday, if it moves slowly, should we hold it to next week? But pivot levels would change next week. Thank you!

I usually trade silver rather than gold and looking at my daily chart there is a nice PB at resistance which may suggest a fall but will be watching next week.

If pivot points are combined with price action, it's accuracy is mind blowing and that's why davit has mentioned on the very first page that you must have at least two years of experience so that you understand price action and then combine it with pivot points.

AC seems to have found support at S38 and also TDI crossed to the upside. I hope, it will at least shoot up to R61.

Hello fellow Pivoters, why don't we stick to our old Davit pivots? Why add other indicators here, this is a subtle way of changing this thread. If Davit was active around here, he would have blocked you asap

EU maybe get rejected once again from the strong resistance at S38.

EU bulls failed to hold the price at R38, now waiting for the price to get rejected at R61 or R78 where there is also a swing high.

EC could be worth considering as it reaches previous resistance / ADR high. I might just look for a signal / higher pivot point before shorting.

Firstly , I won't be posting any charts , (they are not graphs) , showing my opening of trades. You , as well as others , will not benefit from me doing this. This is called "spoon feeding" , which DAVIT refused to do and I will not do it either.
What you can do for yourself is to READ and then RE-READ and UNDERSTAND all of the content on this thread , it's all there for you and it is FREE !!!
Everything you need to know is already laid out by the unselfish input of many traders who are dedicated and determined to "put in the required work".
PRICE ACTION (PA) , is KING !!! You will "hear' this many , many times. Therefore , the very best advice I could give to you and other inexperienced Traders is to NOT USE ANY INDICATORS , NO TREND LINES , JUST DAVIT'S PIVOT POINT DISPLAY. By doing this you will be forced to learn , understand , and predict with a high probability , the direction of price WITHOUT USING INDICATORS AS A "CRUTCH". Once you understand PA , the MARKET IS YOURS and you will FELL THIS CONFIDENCE IN YOUR ABILITY TO TRADE. Without hesitation , you will know when and when not to participate in the market and thus developing a crucial aspect of trading , PATIENCE.
When I enter a trade , I know exactly where my trade will fail if a certain price is reached , I know exactly where to enter my trade and I know exactly where I am going to get out of my trade. This knowledge , came entirely from the information on this thread. Period. I put in , literally , thousands of hours of work. And many other Traders helped me along the way with their advice with their replies to my posts.
At this time of writing I am short the UC. Within the past 5 minutes , PRICE spiked upwards significantly , however , I didn't care about it because I knew that in all PROBABILITY , PRICE was NOT going to invalidate my trade. AN ULTRA- MASSIVE INFLUX OF BUYERS would be necessary to invalidate my trade. With "RED NEWS" coming out of the US tomorrow and very important "RED NEWS" , the CPI on Wednesday , the majority of Traders are hesitant to enter the Market today. Thus today , will be a "choppy" day , and I am fine with that. I DEFINITELY AM ALWAYS OUT OF THE MARKET BEFORE "RED NEWS" IS RELEASED. I do not have a crystal ball. Once the News is released , I will assess my next move. All of this requires just one important aspect of Trading , PATIENCE.
