I am adding a half position here at 1.9611 with a stop @ 1.9631.

Trade #14 update:
Well, I am not to happy with my short placement last night. I should have known better than putting it so close to price when the chance for a spike up was good before dropping.

The trade ended with +26 on 1st half, +20 on 2nd half and -20 on additional giving me +13 for the avg pip gain.

Running Total for Week of 12/11/06:
-25, +73, +17, +22, +31, +7, +13 = +138<!-- / message --><!-- controls --><!-- / message --><!-- controls -->

I have a short order parked @ 1.9675 with a stop @ 1.9725.
This is a risky trade so I am only entering with half position.

Looks like I missed the boat on this one. Price didn't make it to my entry and has reversed down off the high over 40 pips so far. I am deleting this order and will wait for another setup.

LOL, I missed more than the boat on this one. It has now fallen over 150 pips.

Hey FXTiger how are you? I just had a quick question for you and was hoping that you'd tell me how you do it! I've been looking at your trades since you started, and it seems that on every trade you've made there was eventually a pin bar on the charts. The thing is that on every one you've gotten in right before the pin formed and made even more cash than what would normally be made. Thanks for any advice, cuz it seems like your a real pro.

I have a long order waiting at 1.9555 with a stop at 1.9527.
1st target is at 1.9595 where I will take 50% off.

I had some family business that I had to take care of and haven't had time to post.

Trade #15 ended up with a -28 pip loss. Normally I would have had my stop moved to BE but I was away so I didn't.

I have family coming into town tomorrow for the hoildays and as of right now I don't know how much I will trade because of the distraction. I am just going to see how things go. If I see anything later I will post it.

Well, I haven't posted here in several months and thought I would start again. I had stopped posting because I started mentoring someone for the first time and started concentrating my efforts to helping them. It was a rocky start and a learning curve for me. But, the last 6 months he has shown positive results. He started with around $1000 and it has grown to over $4000. I have sent him an email to see if I could post his statement for the last 6 months. I thought it would be interesting for others to be able to see. I have enjoyed this more than I thought and I am considering doing this again.

Anyway, enough about that. I am currently Long on Cable from 2.0005 and a stop @ 1.9995. Half was taken off @ 2.0035

Cable is up around 2.0060 and I am moving my stop on the 2nd half of my position to 2.0030 locking in +25 (1st half closed for +30 @ 2.0035)

Total is (70 + 30) / 2 = 50

After going up to within 10 pips of my first TP (while I was sleeping) this trade came back past my entry and I was stopped for -50 @ 246.35

I am now taking a short @ 246.65

Tiger,

Your journal is inspiring. I'm hoping to do the same as you and trade Forex pretty much exclusively on S/R levels. Could I make the request that your future journal entries also state the time of your entries/exits? It would make comparison with my own setups a little bit easier and take out the guesswork I've been doing of what bars you get in and out of your trades on.

Hello all,

I have placed a BUY LIMIT @ 2.0162 (not open yet as of 8:00am EST)
STOP @ 2.0120

The TP are 1/3 @ 2.0185 and another 1/3 @ 2.0220 last 1/3 will remain open.

This order will be valid as long as today's high (2.0200) is not broken.

Thanks for the comments Gunslinger.

I will try and put most of my trades here in advance before I take them. Sometimes I get a little busy and must place the trade first. I will also start trying to put the times the trade was actually entered and exited if that will help you out.
