Thanks for the Valuable info this week! I kept my longs open after closing at 1.068 & had TP at 1.0800 Keeping longs open I believe we can retest is before another drop, but I can be wrong of course. Just going by how bulls have behaved last 12-14 days.

Hope you aren't trading anything substantial. Take a look at the daily chart and count the last four peaks including today's, place a trend line on them....

They are easily trying to take it back to their first target of 1.0695 by next week.

Today's price action combined with the blow-out numbers don't say long.......

Yea I have tight S/L & if we see 1.704 I will close it out. I do see some struggle , but volume & end of the week now. At 4:30 EST I will decide if I keep them open or closed, but the Daily candle isn't as promising as we get closer to the end of the day. I just was/am expecting one final touch of 1.078-1.08 before another drop due to the updated news today though unemployment for the USD came in better. Im not necessarily looking for a closing candle above the trendline, but at least another retest, if it can stay above 1.072-1.074 before then confirming a more convincing downtrend. I try not to predict, only react however so for now I have the long open & will decide EOD today. I expect Bears will come Monday Aggressive. Just simply my opinion.

EOD was at 11am when bankers laughed all the way to the bank and went for happy hour

Yea lol luckily I joined them today I am just letting it run, but will most likely close it off & avoid any swap charges & reopen Monday.

I'm short @ 1.07971. I have 30 pips now, but contemplating letting it ride over the weekend. Correct me if I'm wrong, the seller has the advantage when it comes to interest on held positions.

Maybe close your profits and see what happens Monday & jump right in? If I have profits before a weekend I usually close due to volatility. However currently short seems stronger as the day progresses. Luckily I am long at 1.07500 so I will most likely close soon as well & enjoy my weekend with profits.

the week went as expected; bearish then bullish thanks to the cot report data. Most assume the cot report lags but truth be told it shows us where the money is...for the incoming week our cot report shows eu will be bearish...overall for the month of may price will dip then rise. Happy trading.

Quick H4 Outlook for Monday

  1. From here on forwards, in the worst case, I expect price to settle below 1.0832, but if it settles inside the yellow zone even better.
  2. Intraday wise, once I see bull struggle, and bears can keep price below ~1.0768, I'd stay bearish and keep selling spikes.

Hope you all are having a good weekend. EUR/USD got a little above the daily 200sma and sold off. Closing below the 61.8 Fibonacci. I believe it’s going down in the week ahead maybe to the 1.0498 area before too long.
