100% correct with your idea to stay in the trade because the Cumulative Delta was telling you the buying was weak - STAY IN .

Often I add after the PA corrects itself and starts travelling down more. A sign of a good trader is one that asks how he can add to his position, not ask when to get out.

Hi Spitfire

Rocky is the expert on Renko bar trading here but when viewing my own Renko trading stats over the last two weeks, it’s almost as good as ES (US500).
This is because it has nice long trends when the Day offers strong volume, but I knew that anyway from years of experience.
Bottom line, trade it only during strong active periods of the trading day to be profitable. Also if you ever want to learn how to add to positions whilst in a strong trend, this is the go too market to learn that skill.

Thats a skill the top 5% of traders use, we can’t join their club without wearing the badge of distinction.

If you look at last 2 short on that chart first one CVD kept me in because even though there was a a green candle closing near top of tunnel the CVD still was showing negative bar, second one a little different even though there was a large negative bar in CVD there was only a doji candle meaning indecision. In both cases the worst outcome for me is B/E so worth taking a shot.

I don't trade NFP anymore been burned big a couple of times. I'll trade a little , later if PA chills a bit. Had a fun day yesterday went paddle boarding with the wife finished up with a late lunch at the oyster farm. No oysters wrong time of year, we had a bucket of clams and grilled garlic pulpo(octopus tacos and of course some ice cold Bohemia's.

Four trades after PA chilled out a bit. I am loving addition of the Cumulative Delta. Thank you RickM for the suggestion and the explanation. It works very well so far as an exit tool more than an entry tool. For entries still rely more on macd, price and tunnel. Plus the addition of divergences with CVD seems pretty accurate so far. I've been doing this a long time and you cans always learn from other people. Rick you used to be active in another thread where CVD was discussed. Forget the name of the thread but thread was started by Ryuryu. Long again BTW. I think from following the thread he was a very smart, very driven person. He always seemed to feel his way was the only way to trade which put me off a little from CVD. And he was very successful too .

CVD has kept me in some trades longer, which since I'm not used to it yet. Has left feeling a little anxious because I'm still learning to trust what I see. So far it has worked perfectly, but nothing is perfect so I'm sure there will be occasional issues. So it's determining whether the benefits out weighs the issues that crop up. I believe it will.

Forgot my day is done, It's been a great week trading, plus learning new things. Everyone have a great weekend and have some fun. I have some new tequilas
to try and a new band to check out tomorrow night. Sunday night a beach party with some friends always good food and music.

Fun weekend found a new tequila for sipping Casa Dragones Tequila Joven a mix of Blanco and Extra Anejo tequilas super smooth. The new band we saw Frida were good more for my wife who loves 80's hair bands than me but they played well. Finished with a super fun beach party last night Burgers, Sonoran Dogs, Cerveza and wine.

Try this anejo if you can find it. Very smooth sipping. I ranked it best out of over 100 tequila's that I tried.

I'm in heaven, our maintenance man Juanito who loves fishing, just dropped of, 5kgs of grouper fillets and 2 kgs. of grouper cheeks. All for 500 pesos about $30 for almost 15 lbs of grouper. Batter dipped Grouper cheeks and Eggplant fries for dinner.

Binnie asked for the recipe. I use this one from eating well. Only I use 1/2 cup of parmesan. I also use either Anchovy Mayo or Diavolo sauce for dipping. Those sauces also go really well with the batter dipped grouper cheeks. I use the air fryer for the eggplant. But the fish has to be deep fried.
