A lot of traders seem to 'wait for it to come back'. The beauty of the Absolute Fibonacci Framework is that you don't have to waste those extra pips by stopping out on a retracement. It will give you accurate targets that the currencies just go to and then retrace.

first of all, i always love TRO.

he always comes in on any forum, yells some incoherent unclear directions and then says "simple"!

remember when TRO says he never closes a losing trade but just waits for it to come back?

now imagine, if you didnt have a stop on GBPUSD a few days ago..or waht if you didnt have a stop in march and you just watied for price to come back.

unless you trade $1 at a time, you really have that much margin to cover your @$$ or will price even ever come back to that price? there is no guarantee.

Hang with me folks. I attempted to paste some charts in Word but the image was crap so I'll post the individual charts here. I'm hoping that RTO will respond. The #1 line is referencing that candle that went throught the 1.2575 line. The open, high, low, and close for that candle were as follows:

Looks to me like you would have made 25 pips off the 1.2550 crossover when it hit 1.2575.

I have had very good results with the Price Projection Oscillator.

It is very similar to the CCI- in that it seems to lead price and other oscillators. (see first pic)

In the first image you can notice that the PPO will usually signal a crossover a couple of bars ahead of typical stoichastics. it is good to get a market order ahead of traders watching stoichastics!

In the 2nd image I have placed the CCI on the chart. I use the PPO in tandem with the CCI (learned many setups from woodies). They are both ideal for signals in overbought/oversold market conditions.

In no way am I saying that the PPO is a "holy grail" or anything. It does work with a sound money management system and further confirmation of trend direction in a higher timeframe etc..

Usually, I just ignore any forum arguments. But I gotta tell you, I really enjoyed the exchange between niceguy and twinchell. If this was my circle of friends (outside of FF), we'd be busting niceguy's balls. Sometimes you gotta know when to cut your losses and admit defeat... if only I was better at it with my trading.

You can download the PPO oscillator and PPO bands at the forum for the vttrader. I have only found it for vttrader. It still needs to be programmed for metatrader.

Phew! Just took a look at the link. That kind of stuff just does my head in, and the mindset stuff in there is just too much! It's a lot simpler than that.

But I can't be an online therapist or fully describe the framework in a thread. It wouldn't serve you. I'd love to, but believe me, it can't be done.

I'll try to explain why, if you like, but right now I have to go to a meeting.

The framework is there; we just have to work on our frame of mind.

I'm enjoying it too. Is it an argument?

Anyway, I think you say some very interesting things - likening Forex to playing with rattlesnakes and wanting to become good at admitting defeat. Hmmm....

Maybe there's a better way of going about trading. Personally, I like simple, clear solutions, which the framework is, coupled with clear and present thinking.

So, who's winning and who's being defeated here? The one that has a solution or the one who's trying to find one? To me it doesn't matter. I'm not trying to sell anything here. Those that are ready, or who want it, will seek it out in their own time. If they are not ready they'd reject it anyway, and frankly I'm not interested in trying to convince people if they can't see it for themselves.

But knowing what I know about the framework, which is my discovery, why would I talk about anything else when I see people struggling to find solutions in this over-complicated environment? I don't buy a lot of the stuff and systems people talk about simply because I have seen so many examples, when people have come for training, that clearly show that most of the systems out there are trying to calculate and find this framework.
