Got out for a small win.

2 more trades done for the day. Wind and tide is getting near perfect. So of for some kite boarding today.

Anyway still trading line break charts and not super comfortable with that so still trading MES. Also not to thrilled with ninja trader right now who haven't solved my problem.

Got some killer rides this morning. Came to a solution to my problem with Ninja Trader Platform. A little time consuming but it worked.
I got the hybrid Heiken Ashi/Renko candles back, plus I found out I can Hybrid the Line Break Candles. This could be interesting. 2 charts same general time frame.

Interesting morning trading the line break chart and the renko chart . More trades with the Renko chart 4 trades 3 wins and 1 loss net 55 ticks. 3 trades with line break charts 2 wins and 1 B/E net 60 ticks. Made some changes to line break chart changed ema tunnel to 14 period and MACD settings to 5-14-8. So I need to go back a look at what 8 ema tunnel would have given me. Still trading MES since I'm still experimenting.

Looked at 8 ema tunnel for line break chart would've gained me maybe 4 ticks so today inconsequential.

Hi rockypoint. Thank you for kindly sharing your knowledge, experience, method(s) and trades.

Can see from the paperclip, templates have been made before. Just thought I would share mine, if ok, for MT4 with signals; for HA candles as a starting point. Will need to add renko version and SR for break points. If there are any issues and/or can be improved please let me know.

Is the renko standard or another variation such as mean? What block size is used for renko?

This is the indicator setup (copy the indicators to the indicator folder and template into template folder).

Is this ok for the renko chart?

usually use 4 or 5 blocks for renko but you can experiment according to what instrument you are trading. my charts use a renko/heiken ashi hybrid which I don't know if you can do on MT4.

Thank you. Understand I've come late to the party.

The signal indicator may add value as it marks the first HA candle close outside of the bands. There is a slight issue with the vertical lines I need to resolve. At present this can be solved by deleteing all objects or changing time frame and back again.

By adding the template to a Renko chart, it will be Renko HA.

This is the next version working on with line break shown by the small dots.

2 more trades target for day reached, I'm done but will stick around. Can be real picky about set ups now.

PA was weak looks to be getting weaker.

Got a nice bearish divergence set up and got a nice win, now I'm definitely done for the day.

Apologises have not marked up trades but gained ~70 pips today on EURUSD. A few trades with small losses / break even.
HA chart used, not Renko HA Hybrid (in the process of setting up).



What is the timeframe for the SR indicator? Thanks.
