in Tradovate, I have an accounts tab I keep open. It shows my PnL for the day

Tradovate is pretty expensive (percentage wise) like per challenge and activation it is like 10-15 bucks extra plus 10-15 extra for PA. So it is almost equivalent of 50K free challenge. A laptop will be much cheaper if you are targeting 20 challenges
Also you can't use quanttower for different broker. You can't copy trades if trading take profit is less than 15 ticks...Lots of restrictions.

Trailing DD will always remains 2500$ in profit if one uses limit order for taking profit. Only issue comes when we want more profit.
For example if I want 100$ from the trade if I put limit limit order to take profit my trailing DD will always remains 2500$ for 50K account as long as target hits.

Prop allows 10 lots in gold. One uses it and gets a message saying it's too much risk.
Prop doesn't have minimum average time. One scalps 15 seconds and that's too quick.
Prop allows 1:100. Traders uses 1:70 and they say he is a gambler.
Prop allows no SL order and/or only daily DD. Trader risks 4% in a single trade and is a gambler

This only shows that every prop CEO is an incompetent or a scammer because every single problem they point out can be easily solved with objective rules.

They know, though, that if they implement it they will be eaten alive by competition.

Same thing can happen with any prop firm (including APEX or FTMO) if number of registrations reduces they start scamming people with ridiculous rules.
Everything in Forex prop firm was good untill CFTC touches MyFF ass and after that everyone got contaminated.
Even with regulated so called Forex.com broker. I have heard they closes down account if making too much money.

I know a couple of very good traders that criticize interactive brokers platform, despite using it successfully.

Evaluating a platform has nothing to do with being a good of bad trader. It's about how friendly the platform is and anyone, winner or loser, can evaluate it.
Match Trader and Dx are horrendous when compared with Meta or even ctrader.

The real issue is, they don't give two shits if you trade like this during the evals....it's only after you pass that THEIR OWN RULES become an issue.

You wont get paid. You need to make 6666.667 (2000/0.3) to be eligible. Sometimes they relax rules but this case is way beyond it. Rule is any days profit should be less than 30% of total profit. Your case total profit is 2K or (2.6K + 2K). They might give you but case by case basis.

I say the same that I said about 3 years ago or so when I started here about forex props. I also don't trust a bit in these futures casino. I only look at it as machines where we insert coins and that spit coins if we are lucky enough. It's just a game, nothing else.
The real trading happens in my real accounts.

Well, in my example total profit is 12.000. Total net profit is 2.000 but I think Apex doesn't talk about net profit.
Thus my doubt.
(anyway I agree that your interpretation is the correct - that's what I expect and the way I'm planning it)

For 50K, accounts needs to be at 52600 to be eligible for withdrawal. So with 2K profit your dashboard wont even allow to pass request.

Many members in this thread reported that they received warning letters from FTMO about gambling/one-sided betting, even the leverage they were using was below 15 or 10. But everyone knows that FTMO is happy if you use 80 and fail the challenge.

Have worked for a broker, but involved in risk software for brokers/ institutions now - was asked to look at retail prop space and found some people I knew were involved in it, and with all the unregulated bullshit that goes on, it's pretty interesting.

Traditional risk-management doesn't really apply to the prop model given the lack of upfront capital, leverage used and way the 'traders' trade.
