with GBP at its high is anyone going to be playing homes and CC ? its kind of scary for higher

2nd of 38

I straddle this one by 2 orders for buy and 2 orders for sell
so my Buy orders got opened and made 10 pips on first one TP and 12 pips on second one "got 2 early"

but still very good

I'm looking to FADE next news

Time to take my profits and call it a day +20 pips.
By the way,
1) What is considered a good day in pips
2) Is straddle = Long and
3) Fade = short

Somehow I'm still long EUR/USD, and somehow I'll keep this position open as UDG results are awful and consumer confidence as well.

Hope I'm right, or else...

It should still be bullish for the EURUSD 3 of the 4 recent news broadcasts were negative for it.

It seems the market over reacted to the existing home sales, the only bearish of the 4.

I'm long as well. Heres to hoping were right.


I should have straddled it but was still long from the 8:30 news. Oh well live and learn.

apparently the world thinks more of the very few more homes sold than bad consumer confidence, 20 pips is pretty good on CHF and 35 on GBP the people have spoken wish i wouldve caught some, i got executed going wrong way , lost 15 pips which is +5 pips for the day how crappy

Home sales is an actual economic statistic. Consumer Confidence is, well, interpretation of speculation. I know where I will put the credibility.

I think the best way to make money in FX markets is to prevent myself from trading on such news. Just joking
I've got to keep it going, because that's more fun.

I lost 2 pips in the consumer confidence and housing reports.

All Told for the day +30

ya my order of coarse just barely got triggered wrong way it was a 5 pip stop order on CHF i figured its better than gbP because GBP is so whipsawey. Guess i really needed a 10 pip stop order no big surprise huh

i got back to entry lvl, taken 1pip profit. At least I'll be able to sleep this night.

I'll just spectate watching the markets, that way I think I'll be able to get more detailed outlook of the market...
