Not sure why the Bollinger band filter is left out. Is this final conclusion came out of original Fozzy forum.

Indeed..............a great book!

OK, evidently you are not planning on reading the original Fozzy thread, so I will step out of character for just a minute (no comments please from the 'side-liners'). Some 'Fozzy' traders use Bollinger Bands, some do not. Fozzy started us out with BB and he probably still uses them. I believe it is a matter of trading style and personal choice whether a trader wants to use that indicator or not. Michael (thebhoy) does not use them, hence not referenced in his e-book; I don't use them either. Need to know more? Here it comes: I suggest you read (or at least 'look' at) the original thread in it's entirety; it will be time well spent. There is NO shortcut to success with the Daily Fozzy Method.................

Dunno whether anyone else has found this problem, but I find I can't open the e-book... a message comes up that the file is damaged and can't be repaired.

This e-book looks very similar to a version on another site.

The variation there is called....The 8and8 method.

I will post the link but admin may remove it....

thank you very much for the book the bhoy , i still dont understand about the stop u said that "stops to 70% of ATR" i dont understand how to calculate it, can anyone please aswer me, thank you very much

They're the same, The book is great, but the Author is all over the forums promoting trying to get profits from people visiting his sites and signing up for brokers through him.

Excellent E-book. I have a question. On the original fozzy we had bollinger bands, over time have these become unnecessary?

No -

It depends on what you like (and have forward tested to your satisfaction)

Some use them. Some do not. It is an attempt to filter. Read the WHOLE Fozzy dailly thread AND do your own homework and see what you like.

I saw in the first post of Fozzy that wi should use Bollinger, RSI and Ma on the one place.

It isn't a complete summary of the thread - that would be huge(!) but rather a quick intro to basic Fozzy, setting stops/limits and how I personally look to trade it.

I mainly use Fozzy with traditional tech. analysis so that's what the book mainly focuses on. There's no mention of using Vegas or Willf's methods. A lot of the ideas have come from Beachbum and as ever big thanks to him for sharing.
Please don't take this as a substitute for reading the entire thread because there are lots of little nuggets in there.

If it helps some, great. Please feel free to comment on it or ask me anything that's unclear.

p.s. I'll be posting this book on a few other forums (under the name 'the 8and8 method' - hope Fozzy isn't affronted!) so we might get some new visitors to the thread.

Hi Newbie,

The strategy is the same. The difference is the book show us one nice method to set limits and stops bassed on ATR indicator.

You can do it or not....there are a lot of methods to set the limits ans stops...fibbonacci, MA(28), etc...ATR is only one method more...

I prefer fibbonacci and i have got very good results!!!

cud you tell me if MA8 is to the "close" or "first indicator's data"...
and in what time frame you use this...
doesn't be important the nivels that occur the cross (RSI/MA) below 30, above 70 or below/above 50....
