I would expect a spike in 1 direction before a reversal an take-off. I just wish I knew which direction!

Lower level = Check! Next upper boundary? Data is not one-sided enough to make a shift of trend (IMHO) so I expect volatility and a check of multiple levels before we decide on a direction.
