Is there a script out there that will open a currency pair in a new tab?
Not quite understanding this requirement, perhaps share more information for context?
Other than that, use the old-fashioned way since Metatrader 4 is almost 20 years old now, most useful features have already been discovered.
Although every noob seems to think they need yet another indicator; how many ways to massage the same price data I wonder?
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

The purpose is, I like to have a tab open for each trade that is active. I also use lots of keyboard shortcuts thru Touch Portal to launch Trading commands.

How do you have an open trade if you don't already have that chart open?

Having them all open isn't a bad idea, or at least the ones I usually trade.
I use a lot of hotkeys and shortcuts. The issue I have now, is if I have GBPJPY open with a trade going, when I click my shortcut to open another chart, it changes the current tab.
It would be nice to be able to have a shortcut that will open a new tab, then the new symbol, like you would on a website.
Currently I need to use the Market Watch and find the pair, then right-click to open the chart, which it does in a new tab. I was looking for this is keyboard shortcut form.
It may just be having the tabs all open, I just hate having a bunch open, but I guess ya do what cha gotta do" I guess.
