Very messy and slow price action today probably won't even look back at the charts until 9:30 just a typical Monday.

Hey Rp Just a quick question on your process. You took the trade at 8:24. Good trade. So why would you not take the signal at 8:15 for the sell. CLosed below the 8 ema and Macd had crossed down? We do not no where it is going when we enter. thus the trade management part.

I took this trade because a higher swing high formed, so i take a chance on PA establishing another move up.

Valid signal but just didn't like the PA. Here's my last trade of the day. I marked PA that kept me out.

I have been following these pages for a while, but I am still looking for the settings for the strategy. If there is a template that I can download and upload to NinjaTrader, I would be very grateful

If you want setting for what I'm trading now just look at the chart, the top shows all the settings except macd, which if you look at the pane are right there.
If you want this plus adx setting for adx is 6.

Woohoo! 2 little winners then 1 huge one. I almost got out of big one 3/4 times but managed to stick it out.

Would you mind explaining why you didn't enter the 7:15 AM and the 8 AM one?

Are you trying to say that Rocky lies about taking those setups? let's say that is true it doesn't make the strategy any less profitable.

I am not saying that but send me a pm when you will become profitable with Rocky strategy. I suspect I will never receive that PM showing real trades.

In the meantime you can always draw blue circles and you will always be a winner. You should appreciate this advice.

P.S. BTW, Rocky is very nice guy with great sense of humor.

FF Pro Tip for rocky: if you add the trolls to your ignore list, you can block them from posting to your thread and save your thread. Keeping them around is what kills the life of this thread.

I'm sure rocky has his reasons for not posting charts showing trades and markers. You are right. The method is profitable. It takes some practice, and it takes work. It is not the holy grail initially. However, after almost two years with it, it sure feels like it some days. I can tell you that I have done very well using rocky's method with a few tweaks to make it suit me.

I thought that you vowed to never return, I guess that vow was meaningless.

As a successful trader(check my real trades in this thread), I am just opening people's eyes to the fact that unless you see a real trades(not in hindsight) posted here or in any other threads, take these trades with a BIG Scoop of Grain of Salt.

Sloppy day of mini trends, think I traded almost every crossover of the MACD except one which I noted why I passed. I also noted why I took each trade.
You can take what I say and do here with a big grain of salt or not, that's entirely up to you. I have never professed that this system is "The One" its not. I have said all along that it's the trader who makes the the system not the other way around. That has always been my primary message. You either adapt whatever system you decide on to your needs or you will fail. Trading is not easy and day trading is even harder. It's said 95% fail at trading, I think that would be 98-99% at day trading. Most people fail because they can't control their emotions and because of that they can't follow a system and can't effectively manage trades or deal with losing. If you look at the trades I posted today you'll see that my 2 losses I got out of and if I waited they both would've turned into wins without hitting my stop loss. I think that trading that way in the long run I come out ahead. Do I know that is correct no I do not. I never tested it and never will. Why?
Because the way I trade suits my psyche to a Tee. You need to recognize that Your success or failure depends on you and you alone, ultimately trading is a solitary pursuit. So listen to what I say or not. Tell me I'm full of shit or not. I don't do this to make money and my ego is big enough(ask my wife). If I never post again it won't effect my life, so feel free to tell me what ever you want good or bad.
