Disliked{quote} With less than 50% of your trades in the green, things can get ugly with a real account fast. The way Rocky trades does not guarantee a positive risk reward. He uses a stop of 15 - 20 ticks and as you can see a lot of his entries although in the green generate less than that. It is his high hit rate that makes things work out for him.Ignored

DislikedThis is my current trading journal how many more trades should I take before I get out of demo and start a funded account? BTW I've been using only 1 contract on every trade which is why my overall earnings isn't much. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yeah I get that but the thing is that I do not trade exactly like rocky we do get in the same positions almost 90 percent of the time but I usually like to wait for a break of support or resistance before I enter which causes me to enter one candle late but the probability of it going my way is usually higher and losses are very minimal.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Correct me if I am wrong, but in my opinion, he is good at spotting consolidation and does not enter trades when price action is ranging. If he does enter based on it, he gets out quickly before hitting his stop loss. So, in the worst case, he only loses 3 or 4 ticks, but often gets out at breakeven when PA goes against him. I guess it's his experience that has brought him to this level. He always seems to attract some high hitters in a day as he stays in the trade long enough to get some good profit, as Vidvad advised me to do somewhere...Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you are getting in same trades as me 90% of the time why is your win rate less than 50%.. Are you taking trades and either waiting to hit a profit target and letting them run until either profit or s/l are hit? If you are getting into 90% of same trades you need to examine why your win % is under 50%.Ignored
DislikedThis would be a more late entry my normal entry would have been the candle behind it I like to wait for the indicators to confirm my entry before entering {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I would not make an entry there even on the previous candle. PA is in a tight range and your entry is very close to a level of support that you have already marked. If you were hoping for a break to the downside, there is not enough room for a break even. I am not the one to give advice, but this is what I do. I don't have the experience and knowledge Rocky has, so I just go for the low-hanging fruit. I look for range breaks in the context of the current direction or bigger range. On the Nasdaq there 4 to 5 of these per day and Nasdaq moves...Ignored
