The problem is that it does not work.

@MathTrader7 any reason why the latest RenkoEA v3.39 is getting removed automatically form the chart once I place it on it? - nothing in journal apart from the message it was removed Previous versions of the robot are not doing this.

Hi Matt,
A thought occurred to me regarding the refreshing of the M1-chart used to produce the Renko charts, namely that if the chart is refreshed every 5 seconds as an example, the formation of the bricks in the Renko-chart, could be consistently faster and if trading it with an EA, would make taking trades so much better?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?
I just find that my Renko chart ( M10 ) seems to be sluggish or is it due to being M10 and not smaller such as M3 or even M6?

Hi Hercs,

There is no fixed refresh interval time for creating Renko charts. The refresh is based on receiving a new Tick from the broker server.

Hi guys, I am new at RENKO, I want to ask if is it possible for us to enter a trade right immediately after the Renko bar ends or maybe we can set a trade at a price that we predicted if the price meets that level, the RENKO bar will end?
One more question, for example, I set a Renko bar form after it moves 10 pips in a 30M time frame, let's say at 10:15, the price moves exactly 10 pips, and the new Renko bar is formed. The question is this new bar located or appears in what mark of the 30M time frame chart? is it at 10:00 or 10:30?

Renko bars are time-independent. A Renko bar is formed by price move using ticks.

Yes, you're totally right, I am sorry my question is quite confusing and dumb. The real question I want to ask is the ATR Renko, I know that the ATR value (the red circle in the attached picture) fluctuates over time, my question is how to know when this value changes? I know it is based on the movement of ATR at that time, my point is how can we predict it gonna happen and how much ATR it moves the ATR value will change? some stuff like that.

And if I am correct, when it changes the whole chart will also change accordingly, then isn't it impossible to backtest with Renko because the ATR value in the past will definitely be different than in the time you backtesting? For example, my strategy involves when a Renko bar hits the MA line, with the ATR value 0.006 it hits the line and I enter the trade but in the future ATR value switches to 0.004 and that trade becomes a failed signal trade, then how can I know my system is consistent or not. Whenever I reset the chart at a specific time the ATR value may change. Maybe all of this is a part of the Renko game, and we must accept it, of course, if I set a fixed ATR value all of this will not happen.

I am not familiar with the platform you are using to create Renko charts based on ATR value. But It is a common practice among the existing Renko chart generators for MT4 platform to use the ATR value at the time of Renko chart creation and use that value for the future.

I'm back after a long time, now I'm focused on setting up a Funding account with Velas Renko and an EA that I designed with the help of Chat GPT. using the Math7 Candles generator
For now I will see how it works in the Free FTMO account. There I will inform you how the project is progressing.

In the end I returned to the simple, I became addicted to the EAs applied to Renko Charts but without any convincing or profitable results in the long term, I really love renko charts. That is why after analyzing my strategy, I decided to do Swing trading which helped me recover a challenge that I bought and that I almost lost by putting a very crazy hedging EA on it.
In the end there goes the account with +4% waiting to pass the Challenge to face two.

Why do you use it is better than candlesticks? What are its strength?

There is no right answer, usually in my case renko helps me to enter a trade before the trend starts by seeing that a small group of renko blocks are stuck for days. With Japanese candles there are usually more false signals. But it is my own perception.
Back to it DAX long +32 pips, 15 pip bricks. Also entry long at 8795, uncertain so bottled it for 2 pips - should have stuck with it

DAX long: Buy at retrace to 19400 (19402 open), TP at mid market - 19450 which has now closed for 48 pips. Screenshot just before close. 15 pip bricks. Decent week, that will do!

Slow morning, no trading yesterday although looking at it there was a decent set up on the DAX at the 11am (UK) brick, tested the mid market (~19350) then rejected the 19400 zone for a 60-70 pip short (15 pip bricks). looking for a similar setup from 19400 long today:
