ctrader has built in renko charts, here's a 2 pip renko chart below...it's hard not to make money if you know basic price patterns.

Which price patterns you like to use most of the time? I mean some favourite at all?
Sentiment is moving the market. Just do the opposite...

Hi Matt, I hope all is well with you. The auto script on the previous trade didn't work, it's been playing up over the past few days - maybe it doesn't like the MT4 from my new broker! I've reloaded it so hopefully that has fixed it. Cheers, Dave

I really like your EAs and I'm trying to backtest them.
But I can't backtest them even though I followed your instructions.
I hope you can take the time to take a look at my problem.
The attached picture is that I am trying to use your RenkoHST data to backtest.

I have the same problem than you. the last two robots (street and simple strategy renko) dont work, other work correctly.
And im using his mathtrader chart creator but is imposible.
Have version mt4 build 1367


and yet I can put the robot correctly to work in live accounts, but not in backtesting

Hi, I tried using this and it loaded a million charts of each pair I had in my watch list. It took me forever to close them all.

why do you prefer dax? i see lots of people prefer indicies, im just curious whats the advantage? tight spreads and low fees vs fx? or something else?

Hi Pippitypips (great name!) you've summed it up yourself - tight spread, usually plenty of volatility although some of the Fx market has been more volatile of late whilst the Dax has stagnated, although signs of picking up. I have traded Fx in the past, a screen full of charts using ordinary candles, I just started to diversify into indices through the Dax and decided I prefered it. Cheers, Dave

Is it possible to add breakeven to your Renko Street EA? That would greatly reduce dropdowns.
