I don’t really understood today’s price development. Something is behind, maybe institutional players, ECB intervention. The pair must go down after the data’s from US. Or maybe 750-850 is the fair exchange rate. Who knows. Happily I don’t traded after PPI and my longs were stopped out. If I had followed my logic it would have resulted a big loss.

It was an interesting week, but EU failed to deliver for the bears after it dipped below 1.0723 for a while, before it retrace back up almost all the pips it created after the drop. Bulls also couldn't manage to break above 1.0805 resistance and eurusd stayed in a range trading up and down on news releases.

For now the price should continue to develop patterns inside the 1.0805/1.0695 range until something move it outside and more traders join in a new trend, or extension of the same downward path it started at 1.1140. It's good to use strategies that work on ranging conditions as they can also offer good rewards until they don't!

From me have a great rest of the day it was an exciting week sharing with all! Have fun!

So, ladies and gentlemen, last week we had price bought up on Wednesday and Friday. This week the same thing was repeated. I hope to enjoy the bullet train when it arrives. Nobody should disturb me when I'm counting my pips! This week I enjoyed my sell scalps, but I can feel the bull in the air. They can rotate all they want, but I truly believe and can say with some level of certainty that we will yet see 1.0875 again this February.

Anything can happen. But the scenario I have in mind which should happen soonest is a rise back to 1.0875. Remember even with that rise bears are still in it on a monthly level because my pivot for the month is 1.0890. As for today price is now at 1.0785. The clues for a good a few good bull rockets are there and whoever ignores them ignores them to the peril of their account.

Make the chart below your poster for the next 3 months... These days we are still witnessing the bullish beginnings of AB=CD, but soon this choppiness will shift into a proper uptrend towards 1.0865... (the first stop of polar express). Patience!

I hope that became true, because I am buying in May/June a few container products from Asia paying in USD and selling in Europe in EUR. So I am with you.
Maybe the forum members capital will increase so much that we can move the pair in any direction.

EU closed with another one wick tail the week above 1.0723 for second time in a row, a signal for more upside to come. A rise above 1.0805 should call for further bullish price action next week with target the above zone near 1.0900 - 1.0862/65 & 1.0883/97.

The range between 1.0805/1.0723 & 1.0695 could play again, but breaking 1.0723 one more time should be enough for the bears that can push the price lower to break and lead the price of eurusd towards 1.0656/43/10.


Weekly volatility (range) 83 pips

Significant news - EU/US Services & Manufacturing PMI'S, FOMC & Unemployment Claims.
