Hi Rocky, why did you choose this entry instead of, for example, the candle that I marked where it crossed the ADX line for the first time? Does it have a higher probability of entering with a bounce from the ADX.

For any one new to the rocky method (or any other method that you've chosen to work on), this 12 1/2 minute video would be a great morning mindset video to watch each day BEFORE trading.

Great video with a lot of solid insights. I wish I had had this video available to me when I was getting started.

I have used today 8 Renko instead of 5 and I was wondering if I should better have used 5 renko? I see I could have entered a bit earlier If I would have used 5 Renko.

I want to thank you for your response on my answer. I joined this tread 2 days ago...
I'm not new to trading, but I was not able to make any money, unfortunately... otherwise I would drop my job long time ago and become a full day trader... this is actually my dream. I want to get rid of bosses, and 9 -5 work schedule.....
...A few month ago I lost my job and I want to look more closer in trading and spend more time to see if I can make my dream come true. May be I need help / like a small push from someone... because I think my confidence is not at a level it should be...
Question to you: can you recommend a trusted web site, someone, or live trading room where I can follow traders and take trades with to improve my confidence and learn how to make money. May be you can volunteer or someone who reads this thread.
I don't need much money, just to be able to pay may bills. Any help is appreciated.

This is really not something you should be looking to do.

Are you using Ninjatrader and are you intending to trade futures, e.g. MES/ES or MNQ/NQ?

I wasn't trading yet, usually start looking again 10:45-11 my time

First you made a good trade. Second it's up to you to figure out what you are comfortable with, bigger renko slows things down, smaller speeds things up.

Following someone else's trades you are not learning to trade. if you want to learn you have to put in the time it doesn't happen overnight. It took me 2 years to figure things out and a couple of busted accounts. Confidence comes from doing not following.

Great video, what I've been saying all along. It's the trader not the system. This means figuring out what kind of trader you are most comfortable being. Then comes risk management and trade management. And of course Price Action. Last is the system.
In other words it's not the System, it's YOU!

Lastly to Vidvad, I tried downloading that EMA but ninjatrader says its for an outdated version of ninjatrader. Poked around and found 2 other versions sames results.

Which one, rocky? The colorized ema?

I can relate to that. I have been trading full-time for the last three years and living off crypto earnings from the past. I quit my freelance job to focus on trading and to learn as much as I can. I always traded with real money because the emotions are different compared to trading on a demo account. Even though I am not consistently profitable yet, I have a feeling that all the pieces are coming together. I've lost at least a total of 40K in trading, so i am a full time loosing trader, but giving up is not something I do. When I was finally profitable for months, I lost my confidence, took a break for a couple of months to study more price action, and worked on the psychological side as well.

I'm like you , never give up. I will come up with a plan, quietly watch successful traders and learn how to trade! Agreed, cannot cut a corner, I mean follow someones trades to make a quick money.
Trading I guess something you can or you cannot do it.
It's a very specific "type of work", and it's not for everyone.... otherwise everyone would be a millionaire, right? ... well or at least have payed off mortgage and have a new car and go for vacation, other little things..etc.
