Rocky looking at the trade you lost 6 points on, the two things I see is that you took the short going into a possible double bottom and the MACD had not fully crossed to the downside. Are those the things that could have been signals to wait?

Mostly the MACD, the double bottom I'd take a chance on since it would be a continuation move.(I tend to be aggressive).

Hi guys, I try to set my template the way Rocky has, and i read all posts, but I still can't get it the same as. My candles are showing up different. I am used to metatrader so Ninjatrader is new for me. I have set every indicator on 1 tick and not sure about the rest. The EMA high and low I found a printscreen of how to set it up, but my ADX for example not showing exactly the same, so I think some settings with heikinashi indicator is not correctly setup. Your help is appreciated

Your settings are 100% correct and they are identical to what rocky is using.

However, YOU are plotting MES and rocky is plotting ES.

Those instruments will track one another and offer similar signals. However, they will plot somewhat differently throughout the day.

My MES chart matches yours perfectly:

Now, are you ready to stick it out for six to eighteen moths and share your set ups and ask question?

If yes, then you're going to do great.

rocky's chart has the same or nearly the same signals, and the main difference is the ES had a lower low double bottom before the big rise premarket, and the MES had a level triple bottom.

rocky does not use MT4 or MT5. Most of us in this thread use Ninjatrader.
